We Can't Wait to Celebrate with You!

Bill and Alyssa met under very unusual circumstances. It wasn't a meet-cute, a dating app, or mutual friends. No, it was Alyssa's furiously clogged toilet. After missing the scheduling call once already, Alyssa made sure to be available ASAP to get this fixed. Little did either of them know how much this simple call would change their lives. It was a cold and rainy August day when Bill arrived at Alyssa's house. In awe of his height and charming looks, the only thing she was able to mutter was, "Oh hey!" as he came to the door. Despite the weather, Alyssa stayed outside to converse with Bill while he worked on her cleanout cap and septic tank. After about an hour of trying to subtly figure out if Bill was single, and Bill obliviously unaware of her tactics, Alyssa finally blurted out, "Are you single!?" Bill's immediate response was, "I was about to ask you the same thing, but didn't want to look unprofessional." The two continued to chat on the front porch in the rain for three hours after the job was finished and exchanged numbers. Within two weeks, Bill was already leaving some things at Alyssa's house. On their first weekend trip to Wilmington, NC, Bill was caught staring lovingly at Alyssa's left hand while they enjoyed a candle-lit dinner. They both knew, all those years ago, they were meant to be.
