John and Alyssa attended school together from 7th grade until 12th grade. In their senior year, they became close friends and kept close contact all the way through college. They shared so many common interests and were so drawn to each other that a potential relationship was always in the back of their minds. When they found themselves living in the same city in 2022, a relationship quickly formed. Since then, they have adopted two sweet pups together - Angel and Ringo - and they have shared so many fond memories together. They enjoy exploring the food scene in Seattle, attending sporting events, and traveling. In 2025, their travels took them to Europe where John proposed in the gardens below the Prague Castle.
