Wilson Creek Winery
One of our favorite places for wine tasting! Has a huge selection of wines and a large outside area to sit and relax. Wilson Creek tends to be a little more crowded than other wineries, be we like it nonetheless. They offer seating on a large stage with misters - perfect for a hot day! There is also a restaurant on-site.
Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Escondido
A 45 minute drive from Temecula, but one of our all-time favorite breweries! Enjoy a huge selection of excellent beers and amazing food in a relaxed, outdoor garden setting. Definitely worth the drive! Also a great location to stop at when commuting to or from San Diego.
Wiens Family Cellars
Wiens tends to be less crowded than Wilson Creek, creating a laid-back atmosphere that we always appreciate!
Ponte Winery
Another winery that tends to be a little less crowded than Wilson Creek, Ponte offers gorgeous views of the mountains from it's large patio. Lawn games are also available from time to time! A restaurant is on site, but availability at night is usually hard to come by.
Leoness Cellars
Leoness Cellars is a little bit off the main road, but it has a large outdoor seating area available to wine tasters and and a restaurant with clear views of the mountains off in the distance!
1909 Restaurant
A slightly more upscale restaurant in Old Town Temecula that's great for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Also has a bar inside!
Penfold's Cafe & Bakery
An amazing breakfast spot with huge pancakes, great chicken fried steak and a old-school diner feel! Tends to be on the busier side, but worth it!
Havana Kitchen
A nice little cafe-style Cuban restaurant with great bowls, plates, sandwiches and empanadas! Highly recommend the roast pork!
