Like so many modern romances, ours began with a swipe right—early 2020, right at the start of a global pandemic. While the world was shutting down, something new was just beginning. We spent those early days navigating lockdowns and curfews, but somehow, it all felt exciting. We were sneaking around like teenagers again—telling everyone we were “somewhere else” than we were supposed to be, sharing secret meetups, and falling fast for one another. It was chaotic, spontaneous, and unforgettable… and honestly, it was some of the most fun we’ve ever had. A year and a half later, we took the leap—I packed up my life and moved to Syracuse to start a new chapter together. It was one of the biggest decisions we’ve ever made, and also the easiest. Not long after, our family grew. We welcomed our sweet Tillie girl into our lives, joining her big sister Stella. From that point on, our world has quite literally revolved around our dogs. They are our daily joy, our constant companions, and truly the center of everything we do. Together, we’ve created a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. We’ve traveled—sometimes far, sometimes near—but always hand in hand. From the magic of Disney (my first time!), to cheering at the Orange Bowl in Miami, watching a playoff series in Boston, soaking up the sun in Punta Cana, Jamaica, and Mexico… each trip has been its own little adventure. But no trip compares to New York City—the place where we got engaged. It was straight out of a movie: a carriage ride through Central Park, twinkling lights, and a stop at Bethesda Terrace where he popped the question. (Fun fact: it’s where Blair and Chuck got married in Gossip Girl, and where scenes from Home Alone 2 were filmed!). It was romantic, magical, and everything we could’ve dreamed of. And now—here we are. Planning our next big moment: saying I do, surrounded by all of our closest friends and family. We truly can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with you.
