Flight
We recommend flying into the YYC International Airport, which is about a 1.5 hour drive to Banff, Alberta. Use a shuttle service like the Banff Airporter to get to Banff, or rent a car for the freedom to roam the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Hotel
The Fairmont Banff Springs is where we will be hosting our wedding ceremony and reception! It is an iconic hotel known as the Castle in the Rockies. If you'd like to stay here, we have discounts available. The "View" link below will take you to the discounted booking platform with the best rates, but there are limited quantities so book quickly! If the link doesn’t work - please click on the "Special Rates" button at the top after selecting your stay dates. To ensure the discount is applied this code will need to be in the Preferential Code box - G01WED2. This code should automatically populate, but in case it doesn't this is the code that is required to access the discounted rates.

Travel Note
Please reach out to our wedding planner at madeleine.mathewson@fora.travel with dates of stay, nightly budget and room type needs (1 King Hotel Room vs 2 Bedroom Suite) and she can curate a personalized list of hotel options for you. We highly recommend staying in Banff as Canmore is about 20 - 25 minutes away on the highway and it is difficult/expensive to get taxis between the two towns. Further non-refundable discounted rates may be available on third party sites like Booking or Trivago, or directly with the hotel on flash sale or non-refundable rate.
Travel Note
There are no Uber or Lyft services in Banff National Park. Please utilize a taxi service (we recommend Banff Taxi) to get from downtown Banff to Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. To reach Banff Taxi you can call (403) 762-0000, or ask your hotel front desk to call on your behalf.
