Ashley is someone who always has an opinion, most of the time nobody asked for it but in the end we all needed to hear it! She is my first call I make when I want someone to go shopping with and no matter what she is doing she will say "give me 15 minutes". As the oldest sibling she was our 2nd mom, she always knew the right thing to say. If I ever need home decor advice, she’s my girl- and she won’t sugar coat anything! That’s what we love about her. Ashley is the party planning queen; Nick and I are so blessed to have her around and keep us in line during this wedding planning process!
Amanda Kenerson

Amanda and I are very much diagnosed with middle children syndrome. We do not want any part of being center of attention. We have so many similarities from our sarcastic humor to our curly hair that we will forever straighten. I remember when we were younger, I wanted to be just like her, so much so I would steal her clothes after she left for school and put them back before she got home...she caught me every time. Amanda is someone who will never say no to a concert, give her live music and a beer and she's good! She's never let being a busy mom of 3 girls stop her from doing anything and I envy that. I will always call her for a laugh or with a medical question for her husband, Ryan. Nick and I will babysit anytime for you to see Zac Brown Band.
Rhiannon Sommers

Rhiannon, Named after the song "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac. The first time Rhiannon and I met was at their cousin's pool party and Nick showed everyone the "Matt Damon" card game and Rhi and I just laughed the whole time. I never felt so welcomed and comfortable. It was like I have known her for years. Rhiannon is also the Number 1 Aunt to our Sadie girl; she always offers to come and check on her when we are out of town and send us pictures. I'll never forget the first Christmas I spent with the family and on the card Rhiannon gave me wrote, "PS thank you for dating my brother so he doesn't end up alone." (LOL) I'm so glad your picky brother picked me and I gained another sister! I will forever make Nick be nicer to you!
Laura Gonda

My "everything happens for a reason, friend". Laura has been such a rock in my life. Through our 8 years of friendship, we have both seen each other at our highs and our lows and we were always there to support one another. We are both January babies so we always celebrate our birthday together and we would get each other gifts because we loved shopping for each other because it was easy "we just bought what we would want" LOL. If you see Laura and I together we are probably just laughing about nothing and everything. Laura is also getting married this year in August, to her Fiancé, Evan. They have both been a blessing to me. Always let me third wheel, giving me homecooked meals when I would come over after work at 10 pm not having eaten all day. Last summer they took Nick and I to the Taylor Swift concert, my first and oddly Nicks 5th? I cannot wait to stand up next to you on your wedding day and for every big and little moment after that.
Hannah Fletcher

Hannah is my "up for anything", friend. Her positive energy and happiness rub off on everyone around her. She loves Tequila and I'm sorry for always saying "No I'm good" to her famous question, "Will you please take a shot with me? Just a baby one?" LOL She is the person who made me realize just how competitive I am and calls me out on it every time. Hannah has got me through the toughest times and we both found love in a hopeless place....Hinge. There are not many people like Hannah, she never lets anyone get her down and she is 100% her silly goofy self, always. I am so proud of her accomplishments and always following her dreams. We all deserve a Hannah in our lives.
Dan Coric

Dan has been my best friend since 6th grade where we met in art class. Dan must have taken art class a little more seriously than I, as his drawing and design skills are second to none, he currently is working on the design team at Nike in Portland, Oregon. I think what is special about Dan and I's friendship is we walked through each facet of life together as best friends. The middle school years, the high school years, the "commuter" college years, and life as an adult all had such great memories that Dan was a main part of. I truly admire all that Dan has accomplished in his life, he wanted to work at Nike since the middle school days and how many people can say they've gone out and captured their childhood dream? We may not see each other as much now as we used to, but Dan has surprised me and my friends a few times making it to some "Nick's Bar" parties, despite living across the country. Whether it was taking on Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, or even just going to Dairy Queen or Applebees (Halfatizers), my fondest memories have always included Dan. Alyssa and I are truly blessed to have Dan in our lives.

I'm not sure what it was about middle school art class that produces such great friendships, but here is another product of Ms. Shiland's Sarah Banks Middle School art class. Ryan and I would bond over Red Wings hockey (back when we were good and won a Stanley Cup) and in our high school days playing pond hockey and mini sticks on Friday nights while every other high schooler was out going to cool parties. Ryan would go on to Michigan State, which provided me with a weekend getaway during college, going and visiting him many weekends. The next major walk of life was moving to Royal Oak with Ryan as my tenant. In all seriousness, Ryan was the best roommate I could have asked for. I think what is so special about Ryan, is he brings out the best in everyone he interacts with. Honestly, what a quality to have, specially being the host of the many parties we would throw. All of my party hosting abilities can really be attributed to learning from Ryan, he is the one who makes everyone feel so welcome and included in whatever festivity is occurring. My covid lockdown time was spent primarily with Ryan and his wonderful wife, Whitney, where we would stay up extremely late trying to solve all of the world's problems. I am very thankful for Ryan and the Kutcher family as they've been instrumental to a great upbringing I've experienced.
Anthony Marchelletta

The last year I've been able to spend much more time with Anthony. Family gatherings on Alyssa's family side are so special as we watch her nieces and nephews grow up. Anthony and I enjoy going along with whatever game they have us playing, I admire how great of an uncle he is. It's not just kid games that Anthony goes along with, I've brought over the game Code Names and introduced the card game "Golf" to the Marchelletta household, Anthony is incredible at both, as I am pretty sure he and I are still unbeaten as Code Names partners. Recently, Anthony started a job in a similar line of work as myself (Mortgage Backed Securities) so its been a lot of fun (well I think it is fun, he may think differently) being able to "talk the talk" as I like to put it with someone now who understands my lingo. Anthony's sense of humor is contagious, he cracks me up as we go back and forth giving Alyssa a hard time. Anthony owns a really nice Jeep Wrangler, I even tried to impress him by purchasing one myself, but it was short lived as he can probably tell you given I vented to him about all the issues I was having with it. I did not have a brother growing up, but soon I'll officially have one, I cannot wait!

Alex and I's friendship started in high school and senior year is when we became close. A brief hiatus during college, but ultimately reunited soon later where Alex would make the journey out to Royal Oak from Wixom nearly every weekend. Alex is my go to for discussing any obstacle I'm facing in life. I appreciate his deep thought towards any issue I'm having and providing sound advice. We both think analytically and can discuss fantasy football trends, poker/euchre strategies, and optimal car market buying/selling timing. When he is not asking me if I've floored my corvette yet, he is asking how Alyssa and I are doing, a friend that truly cares about our wellbeing! Alex can meet someone for the first time and instantly make them feel like they are part of the gang! One of his greatest accomplishments at Nick's bar was eliminating all 10 cups in beer pong in a row on his own! We've enjoyed sneaking into apartment pools in the summer over the years and going back and forth naming random backup running backs. He is my most reliable friend that I can always count on!

Much of my senior year in high school was spent in Ryan's parent's basement playing video games or coming up with some sort of comedy sketch. His parent's put together our whole high school spring break Daytona Beach trip where Ryan will convince you he did not get sunburnt. During college years, Ryan and I didn't hang out very much, but we randomly saw each other at a Tigers game and simply said "why don't we hang out anymore" and just like that, Alex, Ryan, and I started hanging out again. Ryan's mom guided me through the home purchasing process and helped me make the best purchase of my life! What I appreciate about Ryan is he is the positive energy guy. It's Friday evening, long week at work, I say "eh, maybe I'll just stay in tonight". Nope, Ryan simply won't let it happen. He convinces you to come out and you end up being so happy you did. He helped make Nick's bar the legend that it is by his timely karaoke singing, which everyone knows I enjoy so much (lol) . A joy to be around at all times, seeing you at that Tigers game was such a blessing!
