Maid of Honor
I met Jenny right as I was leaving my Women’s Health Center job to go on maternity leave. She worked there also and had started a couple months before. Jenny came back into my life during a very hard time, and quite literally took care of Paxton and I. She quickly turned into one of my closest friends and is always there for me whether I need a laugh, a cry, or truly just to get out of town for a while on a girls trip. I am honored to have her right next to me on this special day 💚
Best Man
Marshall and I became acquainted while we were neighbors in our college dorm. Many adventures and great experiences ensued leading to our lifelong friendship. Never have I ever met a more loyal, honest, and kind hearted gentleman in my life. I am elated and honored to call him my best man.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and I were meant to be friends before we were ever even born. Our moms were pregnant at the same time and while I was due first she had to come 3 days before me. It’s ok, I got back at her in elementary school by putting string cheese in her milk carton, and making her never be able to drink milk out of a cup she couldn’t see through again. The closeness between us has come and gone over the last 30 years, but we both know we can always confide in the other if needed. As we get older we are doing that a lot more, and I feel so lucky to have her standing up with me on this special day.
Groomsman
I met Sam shortly after he started dating my little sister Savannah. His strong faith, intellect, and work ethic are all defining characteristics of the man I now call my brother. Along with being family Sam and I have developed a strong friendship through our mutual interests in the outdoors. I wouldn’t want to get married without him standing up in support of my bride to be and I.
Bridesmaid
Raychl was literally my living baby doll from the day she was born. I was 12 and all the sudden my mom had this baby. I could hold her, sing to her, dress her however, do her hair however I wanted ( sorry about that Raychl), and then we lived close enough to town I could just put her in the stroller and go show her off! Raychl has just turned 6 when I left for college. We definitely didn’t get to see each other as often, but over the years she has grown into the beautiful, smart, fun young woman she is today. I can’t believe she is old enough to stand with me, but sure am happy💚
Groomsman
Peter is the first person that I could officially call my brother after he married my older sister, Whitney. He is a hard working, loyal, and genuine person with a kind heart. He and I have had many good times raising hell and generally just getting in trouble with Whit. I am so very happy he has agreed to stand with me on the most important day of my life.
Bridesmaid
Hayley is my younger sister also. We are 3 years apart. I have always wanted to be the person Hayley is. I struggled as far as looks and making a lot of friends when I was younger, but Hayley never did. She is cool and has always had a lot of friends. The best part of her though is her willingness to be there for the ones she loves. I know she has been in a lot of situations with me that were not the most comfortable, but I needed her. Hayley doesn’t show a ton of emotion but when she does it comes straight from the heart. I can’t wait to have her standing with me for one of the biggest moments of my life💚
Groomsman
Grant and I met when he started dating my sister’s friend. Although he is several years older, he and I developed a lasting friendship from being co-workers for a time where we shared in personal and professional struggles. He is a dependable and compassionate friend. I was honored to be apart of his special day and I am honored to have him with me for mine.
Bridesmaid
Becca is my best friend from college. We both went to school for nursing and we lived on the same floor. I remember them saying the first day in the dorms to leave our doors open so we could all meet each other. Well Becca was really outgoing and good at meeting people, but for some reason she waited until second semester and would come knock on my door during the time that my favorite show played, and kinda just let herself in...... ha ha I guess this is how a great friendship began. We became very close going back and forth to each other’s hometowns throughout college. We could tell each other anything, but mainly we could just make each other laugh so hard!!!! She is now a NICU nurse and I couldn’t be more proud, and feel so lucky she is traveling to stand with me💚
Groomsman
Andrew is the most recent addition to my growing family now that he has wed my youngest sister Emily. His stoic intellect and humility are second to none. I look forward to the many years and experiences my brother and I have in store together. I wouldn’t be able to tie the knot without him standing by my side.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Calais is Ian and Jenny’s oldest daughter. I met her when Paxton and I lived with them. I learned very quickly that Calais would someday make a great mom. She wanted to help with everything that had to do with the younger kids. She was so cute, knew how to be in charge, and loving. Over the years she has become an absolutely beautiful, independent, smart, loving person and the wedding wouldn’t be the same without her in it.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Ainsley is Ian and Jenny’s youngest daughter, and boy is she a little spit fire. One of my first memories of Ainsley is us just moving in with them, and I had my own can of pringles in the cupboard. I got up late one night and grabbed that can and reached my hand down into a partially eaten soft squishy peach!!! At dinner the next night I said “ hey ains let’s talk about my Pringle’s” to which she quickly responded with a grin “ um let’s not do that”. This lead to a night of laughter about all the crazy Ainsley prank stories. I quickly learned in that house we share EVERYTHING! Ha ha I loved it. I also love this little girl and am so excited to have her up with all us girls!
Ring Bearer
Cache is an amazing little boy. This is Jenny and Ian’s son. He is the same age as Paxton and the two of them really are like brothers. Paxton and I lived with Jenny so these 2 boys love each other, argue with each other, and would do anything for each other. We love this little guy so much and can’t wait to see him as ring security💚
Flower Girl
Norah is the adorable daughter of my groomsman Grant and his wife Kristen. She and Paxton have become fast friends despite their mutual shyness at first. When Alyssa and I began planning our wedding there was one clear choice of who would be our flower girl.
Bride Security
This little man is our little man. He is everything from sweet to kind to empathetic, and got his attitude/personality straight from his mommy. He definitely gets rowdy and wild, but most of all makes us laugh every single day. He loves being apart of his family, and from the time the proposal happened at the top of Snow King he shouted to everyone “ we are all getting married”, this includes the liftee. You could be in the middle of your worst day ever and this little boy will make you smile. He has already faced things no little one should have to face, but handled them with grace, kindness, and never let them get him down. We are so proud and couldn’t be happier to have him as the bride security and miniature groom💚
Officiant
Ian McIver is dad to Calais, Ainsley, and Cache. He is one of the funniest kindest men I have met. He welcomed me into his home with open arms, and it completely comfortable the second I walked in the door. We are so happy he is officiating the wedding. We couldn’t think of a better guy than him. He is funny, serious, a wonderful public speaker, and just a great person to be around!!!
