Alyssa and I were both born in this beautiful valley called Jackson just over a month apart. We attended middle & highschool together where we knew each other but never became close. Eleven years and a lot of life went by after graduation until we finally crossed each other’s path again. Personally I knew she was special and that I wanted to spend A LOT more time with her after our first encounter
Luke and Alyssa had decided to spend this particular Saturday with Paxton, and recreate a memory Alyssa had from every summer with her mom and sisters. They got up and took him to lunch at Abuelitos, then to do some fun things including go take an old time photo, pick a toy from the toy store and get some candy from Yippy I-O. They also added getting a milkshake from the soda fountain. Alyssa suggested taking him up the tram, and Luke said how about just the top of Snow King. This was a very special place for Alyssa and her father, so Alyssa said yes of course. They rode up and walked around for a bit. Luke wanted to show them something so they wandered over to the top of Bearcat. Here Luke paused and asked them both if they had fun today, and would they want to do this every year as a family together. Luke got down on one knee, took Alyssa’s hands in his, and asked will you marry me? Alyssa had known Luke was the one for her, he had already stolen her heart, and it took a short time for her to fall in love. Alyssa said yes and hugged him, Paxton joined in and said, “ Yay!!!! We are all getting married”! It turned out to be the best day, and one that will always be remembered.
