Have some questions about what to expect on our wedding day? Take a peek at the FAQs below and see if we have an answer for you! If you still have questions, feel free to contact us at 401-359-5131.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 1st, 2023. You can RSVP by either using the QR code on the back of our paper invites or by going to the RSVP tab on this website. You will be prompted to RSVP to all events separately (e.g., ceremony, reception, after party). If you have any difficulties or are unsure if you have officially RSVPed, contact us at 401-359-5131.

Question

What time will the ceremony start?

Answer

2pm. Please arrive on-time. If needed, aim to arrive before 2pm (we recommend setting a goal of 1:30). The wedding party will be on-site prior to the ceremony and staff at The Guild will know where to direct you if you cannot find our ceremony location on your own.

Question

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The Guild in Pawtucket. Address is 461 Main St. We are planning to have our ceremony outside BEHIND the beer hall. Our reception will follow the ceremony and be located in The Barn.

Question

Is parking available on site?

Answer

Yes, however, keep in mind that our event is happening while the beer hall is still in operation, so parking will be open to beer hall patrons. If needed, you may need to park on the street.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outside and our reception will be a mix of indoor and outdoor options. We ask that you wear clothes that are comfortable and match attire that would be considered garden party or semi-formal.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

You betcha! Food for the reception will be provided by Ming's Asian Street Food. You can check out their daily menu here: https://mingsri.com/ * Note: We know some of our guests have dietary restrictions and food allergies. We are working with Ming's to make sure everyone's dietary needs will be taken into consideration. If you have a dietary restriction or food allergy, please indicate this when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be cake?

Answer

Can you even have a wedding without some cake? We don't think so! Cake will be served following dinner.

Question

What about drinks?

Answer

Drinks for our event will be available at the bar in The Barn. Additionally, if you find yourself needing a break from our party or choose to linger after 7pm, know that you can go to the beer hall for additional beverages.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

7pm. After that it will be your choice on what to do next. We intentionally left a two hour window between our reception and our after-party so that folks could recalibrate and not feel pressured to stick around. If you're planning to hang around for the after-party, we will see you again at 9pm at The Boombox Karaoke Bar in Providence!

Question

Do I have to go to the after party?

Answer

No! As much as we would love to keep the party going with everyone, we know that not everyone will be planning to stay the night in RI. Please do not feel obligated to attend the after party if you do not have any more gas in the tank after 7pm. We understand and appreciate you taking time out of your day to celebrate with us in whatever way you can!

Question

What time will the after party end?

Answer

Our plan is to reserve 1-2 private rooms (depending on the # of RSVPs) for one hour. After that, you can decide to hang around downtown or pack it in for the night. The Boombox has a full bar and is part of The Dean Hotel.

Question

Can I bring a date or friend?

Answer

If your date and/or friend received an invitation and/or is the "plus one" you identified on your RSVP, then yes. If not, then we kindly ask you to not bring folks who were not invited to any of our events.

Question

Are you accepting gifts?

Answer

We welcome any gifts folks choose to give us. At this time, we ask folks to consider making contributions to our newlywed fund as this will go towards our future honeymoon and house projects. You can contribute to this fund by going to the Registry tab on this website. You'll also notice we added a few items for folks who would prefer to purchase us a gift.
