If you haven't met the future Groom yet, Joey is a true Chicagoan growing up in Back of the Yards, he is quietly charismatic, a devoted partner, hard worker, and has a wicked sense of humor! Joey has worked for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club for over 12 years and when he isn't busy at work, he can be found at the movie theater watching the latest Star Wars/Marvel/DC/Godzilla movie, travelling or relaxing with his dog, Dante and his bride-to-be. Nickname: Fun fact - Joey is the nickname, his given name is Joel.
Isabel Gorman
Maid of Honor
Isabel is Joey's younger sister. She made the bride's transition to life in Chicago so much easier and always jumps at the opportunity to help her friends and family. Anything she touches becomes better. She is our ride-or-die, and has made the process of planning this wedding almost effortless with her previous experience as an Event Planner for the Marriott Group. She currently works for luxury hotel, The Gwen and continues to impress in her role there. Nickname: Chave
Tiffany Spencer
Bridesmaid
Tiffany is Joey's cousin, they grew up together and remain close. Alyssa met Tiffany after moving to Chicago and they became fast friends as well! Tiffany has worked in Community Relations for both the Blackhawks and the White Sox and is a wifey and a mama to two amazing kids, Maddie and Nate (who you'll see walk down the aisle on our big day)! She is also a massive N*Sync/Backstreet Boys fan and even met Lance Bass in the wild (pictured above - sorry Tiffany I had to!)!
Gwendolyn Oliva

Gwendolyn is the wife of Joey's lifelong friend John, and one of the first friends Alyssa made in Chicago! The four friends (now five with the arrival of baby Rory Oliva - yay!) always have a great time together. Originally from Pennsylvania Gwen bonded with the bride over being new to the city and the adjustment involved. Gwen is a loving Mom to her daughter and an accomplished Specialist at Sephora. Nickname: Gwen
Fabiana Reyes Trevino
Bridesmaid
Fabiana met the bride when they both moved to Chicago days apart (and into the same house no less)! Wife to Joey's cousin Delfino Jr. and Mom to darling Flower Girl, Emilia, and new addition baby Alina! Besides sharing an address, Fabiana also shares the couple's Disney obsession and helped Alyssa out with all things DIY thanks to her expert crafting skills! Nickname: Fabi
Crystal Adrian
Bridesmaid
Crystal is one of Alyssa's oldest friends, her and the bride met while volunteering at a rural BC summer camp in high school where they were often mistaken for one another! They soon became more than doppelgangers and more like sisters, especially when Crystal married one of Alyssa's childhood friends Clinton (who worked for the bride's dad, Ted for ages).
Danielle Magnan

In an odd turn of events, Danielle used to work for Alyssa during their time at the Reitman's clothing store in Orchard Park Shopping Centre in Kelowna, BC. She went quickly from employee to good friend and eventually bestie! Before the bride's American adventure to Chicago her and Danielle were essentially inseparable and could be found tasting wine, hiking mountains and laughing uncontrollably. Nickname: Danni
John Oliva
Best Man
John is one of Joey's oldest friends. The two grew up together from a very young age and have remained close throughout! They even spent a short time as roommates in college. John is well-versed in building relationships as a successful District Manager for luxury eye-wear brand Warby Parker. He is also a husband to lovely wife Gwen and the ultimate Girl Dad to daughter Rory! Also he owns a monocle. That is all. Nickname: Johnny

Joe is Joey's brother-in-law (husband to the lovely Isabel). Joe is an upbeat and hardworking paramedic who spends long hours working to keep Chicagoans safe and healthy and he even provides medical support on set for some of our fave Chicago based dramas on the CW, etc.
Carlos Pineda
Groomsman
Carlos almost loves Joey more than I do. Sometimes I'm afraid to leave them alone in a room together. These two are always found cracking jokes (usually about each other) at every gathering they attend. Carlos works with other "characters" as a Corrections Officer (where he met lovey girlfriend Zee!) and is a devoted dad to his son Ivan. Nickname: Probably something I can't write here...
Victor Aviles

Victor is one of Joey's long-time friends. They spent a lot of fun nights out together and have maintained a close friendship over the years. Victor is a dedicated police officer at work and a loving husband to wife, Nicky, and fun dad to their four children at home.
Jesus Zamora

Jesus and Joey have been friends since college as well and have been close for years. Jesus used to be the Headquarters for their friend group thus garnering the famous nickname "The President". Jesus' residence is now the headquarters for his beautiful wife Francisca and their daughter Sydney, son Jr. (or Jes) and baby Lana! Nickname: See above.
Saul Terrazas

Saul taught Joey everything he knows about slight-of-hand, close up magic and friendship. Just kidding (not really), but these two do get into trouble together and always have a good time! Saul is a loyal friend to many and loving husband to his wife Italia. Nickname: None that I know of but for the record it's pronounced "Sal"!
Juan Arreola

Juan has worked with Joey at the Chicago Fire for some time and they have grown close over the years of working together. They bonded early over a love of the same movies, TV shows and music. As one of the team's Equipment Managers, Juan travels with the Fire all throughout the US. Nickname: Johnny
Brian Sauer

Brian also works with Joey at the Chicago Fire and they have been friends since the beginning. They bonded early over a love of the same movies, TV shows and music. As one of the team's Equipment Managers, Brian travels with the Fire all throughout the US for work and also enjoys traveling elsewhere with his girlfriend Amie.
Colleen Rothon
Mother of the Bride
Colleen is Mom to Alyssa (as well as her brothers, Jonathan and Daniel) and is originally from Prince George, BC in Northern Canada. She spent her early years as a Broadcaster/Journalist/Radio DJ (ask her to name pretty much any tune from the 70's/80's and she'll deliver)! When Alyssa was about a year old the whole family moved to Christina Lake, BC where Colleen, and Ted currently reside. She's a proud mom and considers her children to be her passion. She has sacrificed a lot for her family and continues to do all she can to support her kids. Nickname: Col or Collie
Ted Rothon
Father of the Bride
Ted is the proud papa to the bride Alyssa (as well as her brothers, Jonathan and Daniel). He has spent most of his life working as a Carpenter, notably as the Owner/Operator of Rothon Construction where he spent his career designing, building and finishing multi-million dollar homes in the Christina Lake, BC and surrounding Kootenay Boundary area. A talented guitarist and singer, Ted spends most of his time now performing music and dabbling with new interests in his retirement. Nickname: Ted is actually short for Edward (it's a British thing it doesn't have to make sense).
Maggie Dimas

Maggie is Mom to Joey and sister Isabel. She spent her early years growing up in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago and attended University of Illinois for Physical Education where she met her husband Gil. They got married and with Maggie's education she started teaching (even taught Joey for a while)! Now Maggie works for the USPS Banking Division as a Supervisor. In her spare time you can catch her cheering on her favorite teams (think White Sox, Chicago Fire, etc.), shopping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Nickname: Maggie's full name is Magdalena, but you won't catch many calling her that!
Gil Dimas
Father of the Groom
Dad to Joey and his sister Isabel, Gil Dimas is laid back, warm and friendly. He spent his early life in San Luis, MX before his family came to the US, where he eventually worked as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator and later for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. Gil still works directly with the Fire's players as part of the First Team. Even with all his accolades and talents, Gil's kids are what he is most proud of. When he's not working you can find him enjoying Formula I Racing, watching soccer and spending time with his friends and family. Nickname: His full name is Gildardo but you can just call him Gil!
Emilia
Flower Girl
Emilia is the daughter of Joey's cousin Delfino Jr. and his wife Fabiana. Joey and Alyssa are Emi's upstairs neighbors, and they all enjoy having barbecues in the backyard together and playing and being silly at family events! Emi is currently in preschool and just became a big sister for the first time!
Maddie
Flower Girl
Maddie is the daughter of Joey's cousin Tiffany and her husband, John. Maddie is the baby of the family and enjoys playing with older brother Nate and her cousins. So smart for her young age, she can work a tablet better than the bride or the groom combined! Catch her throwing Confetti for the bride before she walks down the aisle!
Nate
Ring Bearer
Nate is the son of Joey's cousin Tiffany and her husband John. Older brother to cute Flower Girl, Maddie he loves playing with his sister, his friends and cousins! Nate is in Kindergarten and loves making new friends and making his parents laugh!
