Camille is my "invisible string theory" š„¹š Our connection started way before we actually knew it. My aunt was best friends with Camilleās aunt and she was actually in the delivery room as the nurse when Camille was born! We share the same middle name (Breanne), her brother and my cousin (whoās basically my brother) are both named Andrew and theyāre best friends, and she even shares the same birthday as my dad (February 8th)! It feels like we were just meant to be! Camille has always felt like family for these reasons. I like to joke she's my soulmate (sorry Jacob š). I finally met Camille in 2012 when we were in 7th grade. We went to the same school until sophomore year of ungrad at La Sierra University. When she moved on to nursing school and we couldnāt see each other daily anymore, it genuinely felt like a breakup š . I was devastated! But even with time and distance, Camille has always been my constant and my safe space. No matter how long itās been, being with her just feels like home. Itās the biggest blessing to have her by my side š
Devon Rico
Best Man
Devon has played a vital roll in Jacob's life acting as an older brother. Devon and Jacob share countless memories from pillow fights to river trips. They thought their future consited of saving lives for the Coast Guard. Jacob used to call Devon by "Sr. Chief" and Jacob by "Goldfish" (if you know, you know). Jacob looks forward to molding our families together and have our kids grow up just as we did. He looks forward to having his older brother next to him on his big day!
Lauren Danlag Monroe

Lauren is my oldest sister and got married to Aaron at Galway in 2023! Iāve always thought she was the most entertaining of us Danlag gals, lol. I grew up watching her, and Iāve always felt like things were a little easier for me because I got to see her and Krystal do everything first. A lot of what I said or did growing up came from following her lead. I think thatās a big reason why I ended up going into the therapy world. My dad once told us that Lauren wears her heart on her sleeve, and itās true. Sheās never afraid to show how she feels. The way she explains thingsāwhether itās about her job or just a random topicāreminds me so much of how my dad would explain things to me. She also reminds me of him in how she can tell somethingās wrong just by looking at you. She listens when you need to vent and is the kind of person you can talk to about anything without fear of judgment. She just gave birth, and I was lucky to be in the room with her leading up to it. I got emotional watching her because her strength through all that pain reminded me of our dad. Iām so lucky to have her standing by my side on my wedding day.

Jason has played a brother roll since 2008 where Jacob and Jason met playing football. They play both baseball and football together until high school, and became teammates again in College. They have many memories all through the years. Playing blitz ball and playing baseball through college together is a core memory for their relationship. Jacob enjoys having Jason as his accountability partner in the gym. He looks forward to having Jason be his side on his big day.
Krystal Danlag Hernandez

Krystal is my middle sister and the one who started the Galway Downs wedding trend in our family. But she didnāt just start that trend; she has inspired me in so many areas of life. Iāve always felt like things were a little easier for me because I got to watch Lauren and Krystal go first and learn from them. Krystal and I grew up sharing a room, and while weāve always been close, weāve become even closer over the past few months. She carries some of my dadās most admirable traits: his stamina, quiet strength, emotional intelligence, listening ear, his way of making you feel heard, and always knowing what to say to make things feel a little lighter. She also reflects some of my momās best qualities, including her warm hospitality, her way of bringing people together, and her self-lessness. I canāt wait to get married at the same place where I once stood by her side. It will feel like everything has come full circle <3

Jacob met Alex "Tree" once he transfered to La Sierra University. They hit is off instantly and became brothers right away. Jacob's favorite memory with Tree was their match ups in college. They still joke about it until this day. He is the easiest person to talk to about anything or go to for advice. Jacob can't wait to have him up there with him on his big day!

Jen is probably my very first and definitely my longest friend. We met in preschool and stayed in school together all the way through our sophomore year of college, until she left for nursing school. It honestly felt like my own sister was moving away at that time š„ŗ Some of my best college memories were with her and Camille. Some of my favorite things about Jen are how passionate she is, how emotionally intelligent she is, and how incredibly smart, forgiving, loyal, and funny she is. Sheāll say the funniest things when you least expect it. Sheās also an amazing listener and always knows exactly what to say when you need someone to talk to. Jen carries herself with so much grace and is one of the kindest, most sincere, and understanding souls you could ever meet. Iām so lucky to have had her as a friend for over two decades, and even more blessed to have her standing by my side as I get married.

Arty came into Jacob's life freshman year of college once Jacob transfered to La Sierra. Arty was one of Jacob's toughest matchups in college. The rivalry was real! Arty can be a listening ear and will do little things to show you that you mean so much to him. He will also be the life of the party. He is truly 1 of 1. Jacob can't wait for him to be up ther with him on his big day.

Iāve known Kristine since kindergarten, but we became especially close during junior high and high school. Almost all of my favorite high school memories include her. I remember spending what felt like every week at her house during our senior year. Even years later and miles apart, she still welcomes me to her new home in Washington anytime š„ŗ Some of the things I admire most about Kristine are how sweet, funny, supportive, honest, talented, well-rounded, and hospitable she is. There have been times when we go weeks or even months without talking, but whenever we catch up in person, it always feels like no time has passed. Everything feels right in the world when I'm finally reunited with my childhood besties: her, Natalie, Jen, and Camille <3 I can always count on her to be there for me and to make me laugh. Her sense of humor matches mine perfectly, and I canāt imagine getting married without her by my side. Iām so lucky to have her in my life.

Nat has been my friend since kindergarten, and for decades we were truly inseparable. Growing up, she felt more like a sister than a friend. Sheās the kind of person who would drop everything to be there for the people she loves without hesitation. Some of the qualities that make Natalie so special are her ability to bring light to any situation, her talent for making us laugh until we nearly cry (or pee our pants), and the way she selflessly takes care of her family and friends. Sheās the rock of every group sheās part of and the strength that holds everyone together. She moves mountains and somehow makes it look effortless. Ever since she moved to Colorado, sheās been the reason it feels so special to me. I know I can tell her anything and everything and sheād show me so much empathy, understanding, and support. Sheās one of best friends and truly canāt imagine my wedding without her in it. Iām beyond blessed to have her in my life.

We love Hali like she's our own babyš„¹ Hali has the unique abilities to breakout into song at almost any moment, recite tiktoks after just a few watches, memorize songs and dance routines faster than the speed of light, eat more fruits than most adults, and make everyone smile with her songs, dances, and laughter. Hali and Lyzard's favorite things to do together are singing, dancing, "watcha eating" (aka watching ASMR videos on tiktok), and taking photos on Alyssa's laptop. Hali doesn't let Coco (Jacob's nickname) hold her really because she's mildly scared of him LOL, but Hali and Coco's favorite things to do together are interviewing each other and playing "tickloo" and "getchoo." Hali's usual phrase about Coco include, "getchoo Coco," "uh oh Coco," and "where's the Coco." Fun fact! "Coco" was the second name she learned to spell after her own name! Also fun fact #2! āHi cocoā was her very first 2 word phrase!! The bond they share is real despite Hali not wanting Coco to ever hold her HAHA.
