Once upon a time, fate brought two collegiates together into a shared dorm room. While they were quite different, they quickly realized they were soulmates. They shared almost everything, including their wedding Pinterest boards. While they didn't know who the lucky men would be at the time, they did know this: they'd be each other's MOH. Tasha stood by Alyssa through all of life's milestones, the good and the bad. She's taught Alyssa what it means to be a true friend, and has helped her grow into a better person. The two share an unbreakable bond, and Alyssa is grateful to have Tasha by her side on her wedding day (and forever). Alyssa has known Kytana since the day she was born—literally! Tana has always been protective of her little sis, making sure only the most worthy gained her sister's affection. While Alyssa looked for a prince, Tana knew she needed a king. And she knew after they started dating, that king was Craig. She may live in D.C., but Tana never misses important occasions. From college graduation to Alyssa's thyroidectomy to even surprising her on her 30th birthday, Tana is always there. She is the best sister Alyssa could ask for, helping her navigate life and encouraging her true sense of self. Alyssa loves Tana dearly, and is honored she's standing with her today. Corey Weydert
Best Man
Craig and Corey’s friendship started before they were even born. Their mothers were neighbors and good friends. One a seamstress and the other baker, both specializing in weddings. It was no coincidence that when Craig and Corey were born they became good friends as well. They grew up together, spending time on each other’s farms, going to school, and later becoming roommates throughout college at Iowa State. Corey’s helped Craig navigate life’s challenges, and Craig’s done the same for him. When it came to deciding who would be in the wedding party, Corey was a no brainer. Terrenze Franklin
Best Man
Craig and Terrenze met in the first grade. From attending one another’s birthdays to playing football to running track, they became close friends throughout their school years. Though they weren’t roommates at the start of college, Craig, Corey, and Terrenze moved into apartment 102 their junior year. They named themselves, “The 102”, and bonded watching “Zoids,” making late-night Hy-Vee runs, and Terrenze celebrating “Super Bowls.” “The 102” remains strong to this day. Always making time for each other despite their busy adult lives. When Craig decided to marry Alyssa, he knew Terrenze had to be by his side. Favorite Disney Movie: Finding Nemo
