Soooo, it all began when Caleb and I met at a boys ALCS basketball game while they were working up to State Championship! Little did Caleb know, prior to the game we met at, I saw him from afar at our young adults group and had a mission to say “hi” to him at the basketball game when I saw he was there! From then, we would go to the upcoming basketball games as the season got more intense with the main mission to see one another. I mean, and to cheer on the boys! Long story short, Caleb was the quieter kind, so I had to get clever with my moves. I ended up asking Caleb’s friend, who is our best man, if I could sit next to him and his friends, aka “Caleb,” during the basketball game at the Kohl Center. I knew that if I didn’t find a way to hang out with him outside of the games, we would stop seeing each other the minute the basketball games were over. So, I had a lightbulb moment! I decided to host a game night at my house to lure him in and, since he had to know my address to attend, I finessed my way into getting his number! After that game night, it all began to progress. He pursued me and I pursued him. Fast forward, our first date was at a petting zoo and, now, we have the amazing full circle opportunity to get married at a barn! Not only was it my little girl dream to get married at a barn, it’s also sentimental to Caleb and I! There will even be alpaca feedings at our wedding!
