Updated information about parking in Old Town

Answer

Please be sure to arrive early for our 1 o'clock ceremony, it will be summer time and very busy around Old Town. The Mother and Father of the Bride have provided transportation for those who are not able to find parking in the heart of Old Town. If you would like to use this transportation to and from the Catholic Church please park in the CalTrans Lot at 2992 Sunset St, San Diego, CA 92110. The driver will be stationed in the parking lot from 12:15 to 12:50 to transport guests to the front steps of the Catholic Church. After the ceremony please return to the front steps of the Catholic Church for transportation back to the CalTrans lot. The CalTrans lot is close to Old Town, you are also welcome to park at the CalTrans lot and walk to the church. This walk is about 14 minutes. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out to the Bride, Groom or the parents of the Bride. Thank you and we are very excited to see you all!

What is the dress code for this wedding?

Answer

Our wedding attire is Semi-Formal. We will be having our ceremony in a Catholic Church. We recommend clothing that is appropriate for a church setting. Knee to mid length dresses for women and suits or dress pants with dinner jacket and a button down shirt for men are perfect for the occasion. Thank you!

What color should I NOT wear to the wedding?

Answer

Please refrain from wearing white, cream or ivory, coral, maroon or navy blue to the wedding. Thank you!

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking is limited in Old Town. We recommend arriving up to 30 minutes before mass start time in order to find parking. At our reception venue there is plenty of parking and they do allow overnight parking as well.

Will we be having a money dance?

Answer

Yes! if you would like to dance with the Bride or Groom during our money dance please bring cash money to join in the fun!

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have reached our capacity at our venue and for this we cannot allow for any plus ones. We will only be able to seat the number of guests that are listed on your invitation. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Both our ceremony and venue locations are located indoors. Summertime in San Diego does get warm however our venue location is near the water which helps keep the temperature comfortable.

What do the guests do after the Catholic Church Ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony we encourage our guests to walk around Old Town! We love the area and would love for you to take a look at all of Old Town's historic spots and cute little shops. Alyssa recommends you pick up a Mexican Mocha from the cafe across the street from the church. It is the perfect treat while walking around Old Town. After walking around make your way to the reception space for our cocktail hour at 3:00 pm.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP click the RSVP tab on the website. Once there you will type in your name. From there you will be directed to RSVP for each event you are invited to. Please be sure to check all the names for all of the guests that will be attending. Alyssa and Brandon will be making adjustments to seating and food provided based on RSVPs.
