EXPLORE THE TOWN OF EASTSOUND
Eastsound is the main town on Orcas Island with a great selection of restaurants, shops, museums, and bars for the enjoyment of all. Check out the Orcas Island Historical Museum for some local history, Brown Bear Baking is a great spot for breakfast or lunch, and grab a drink at the Barnacle Cocktail Bar.
Moran State Park
One of the top attractions on Orcas Island, Moran State Park has much to offer. Hike up Mt. Constitution for stunning views of The Islands (6.7 miles round trip), or enjoy a plethora of other shorter hikes, go for a swim in one of the several lakes, or just relax on the lake shore with a picnic.
Buck Bay Shellfish
One of Alyssa + Anand's favorite spots on Orcas Island to enjoy seafood! A great spot to experience local Pacific Northwest seafood and drinks with beautiful views of one of Orcas Island's several bays. The staff at Buck Bay offer oyster shucking and crab picking tutorials, which make for a fun snack-tivity. Out-of-towners, you haven't had crab until you've had crab from the Northwest!
Whale Watching

Outer Island Excursions - Kayak Rentals + Excursions

Orcas Island Pottery
(360) 376-2813 If local crafts are what you're in the mood for, you can't miss Orcas Island Pottery. Opened in 1945, this working studio is unique in that they display most of the artists' work outside. Don't miss the awesome treehouse that allows you to climb into the branches of a 200 year old cedar.
Hogstone Wood Oven
One of our favorite farm to table restaurants to eat at on the island! The pizza and oysters are always delicious, and they have good drinks.
Island Hoppin' Brewery
Delicious island beer inspired by the sea, sky, and earth of Orcas Island! They also have a tasting room, and food pairings.
Brown Bear Baking
Delicious pastries and food, and good coffee. You can even eat in their sweet outdoor courtyard!
