We first met back in '06 while attending Garfield High School, where we were introduced by two of our close friends and quickly fell head over heels for each other. Back then we had no idea how much we would grow to love and support each other through the ups and downs in this beautiful adventure called life. Years later, we realized our stars aligned for a reason. From high school sweethearts, to raising our pups Koko and Olive, to now buying our first home - we feel like we've been married for years! On July 14, 2018 - our 12th Anniversary, Anand surprise proposed to Alyssa at a Desus + Mero Show at the Moore Theater - and she said YES! With some close family and friends who were hiding in the audience, we had a mini celebration in the lobby, but little did Alyssa know the surprise wasn't over... Anand continued the party to Capitol Hill's LoveCityLove where all of their family and friends (from all over!) were waiting to celebrate! BEST. DAY. EVER. Alyssa was surprised AGAIN, and cried, all night lol. Now comes the time to travel to a nearby PNWonderland where we are excited and ready to make this thing official and keep the celebration rolling!
