We suggest booking a rental car through Turo (it's an app, like Uber but for car rentals) to ensure that you're getting a vehicle that is capable of driving up the mountain roads, if you plan on driving rather than carpooling with another guest.

It takes approximately 50 minutes to an hour to get from Denver International Airport to Georgetown. The drive from Georgetown to Idaho Springs is about 15 minutes, and the drive from Georgetown to our mountain home is about 20 minutes.
