The bride and groom strongly encourage all guests to stay on site at Heartwood. It is by far most convenient as the nearest hotels may be upwards of 20 minutes away. Just stay on site folks. If accommodations become scarce, we will provide more information about other options, but you're going to love the place so it'll all work out. Call Heartwood at 715-466-6300 and ask for the "Bush/Zibrowski" wedding rates.
We hope so. Outdoor wedding location will be just outside of Eagle Lodge. Indoor wedding location will be inside Eagle Lodge. Either way I bet Alyssa will look splendid.
This is a mystery. But it will also give us the chance to address important wedding as well as some general life questions. Also, the Groom is color blind and not really strong suited when it comes to stylistic choices so it was decided an FAQ is something he could handle.
No. There are two private lakes with a beach at one of them that has canoes and other fun play things in the water. There is a hot tub at one of the lodges, but we're in Northern Wisconsin so get in the lake! There is also very close access to the Namekagon River for a fun floating adventure if anyone is in the mood.
We will be doing our dinner meal buffet style, so guests will have a range of vegetable and protein options (all of which are delicious).
Groom - Seriously looks forward to a day when he can be the owner and caretaker of a herd of Llamas who will provide packing capabilities for the outdoors as well as hilarious companions in life. Bride - Has found herself in love with someone who fantasizes about owning Llamas and she is actually ok with it.
No - everything is there on site. Depending on where you're staying it could be a fifteen minute walk from your place of residence to the reception area.
There is a restaurant on site at Heartwood. Additionally, many of the rooms will have small cooking stations or there are a few towns such as Trego in close proximity to Heartwood with a few restaurants to choose from.
No
We would love for our guests to make this event into an extended weekend or mini vacation for your families. Please arrive as early as Wednesday and stay through Sunday if you so choose! See the Things to Do tab - know there's plenty of activities that the Heartwood property is set up to host. Additional enjoyment could be found renting a tube and going down the Namakogin river with a cooler floating next to you.
Unfortunately the Bride and Groom have elected to leave our wonderful Duck Tolling Retriever behind during the wedding weekend. She becomes an attention hog around too many people anyway, but we promise she'd probably like you, especially if you are holding a tennis ball.
