I can't believe it: I'm getting married to the best person in the whole world! Cory has made life incredible from the first moment I met him. I remember the first time we hung out together: we walked the streets of Berkely looking for a place to get drinks or a coffee, not sure of what exactly we would do but enjoying the stroll. We talked about all the books, movies, and tv shows we loved and he insisted that I watch a movie called "Interview with a Vampire." And of course, the next time we were together, we watched it! From that moment, I was hooked on two things: Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and Cory Bradford-Watts. He has been taking me on adventures since the beginning and I look forward to all the adventures still to come in our marriage!

I can’t believe how amazingly blessed I am to be marrying Alyssa, my best friend, my love, and an inspiration to me in every second. Alyssa is the coolest person I know and since the moment I met her I was mesmerized by her wondrous smile, the likes of which I had never seen before! We became fast friends, both of us nerding out about spirituality, pop culture, and film (our first unofficial date of Interview with the Vampire will play on in my heart), and it’s been my vast pleasure to share the last few years together as partners. I could never quite get Cory figured out when we were younger. As siblings some days I would think he was the meanest big brother on earth, other days I thought he was the coolest. A few things that even back then I knew for sure about my brother was that he is extremely smart, and that he goes all in when he wants something. It took him awhile to figure it out, but he chose a meaningful life when he could have had a wealthy one, and he is one of my biggest role models because of that. He also chose one of the sweetest girls I've ever met.

So I met Alyssa many many years ago when she came into my life and made my mommy share her love and attention with someone other than me. Luckily I am still the favorite, so I forgive her. On a more serious note I am proud of the woman that she has turned into and cannot wait to see what the further holds for her and Cory. Who I have never met and will not meet until their wedding. Hey! I am Alyssa’s younger sister and therefore have always been her protector. Growing up we were best friends and always looked out for each other. As we got older and she went off to school to pursue her dreams, I could no longer keep her safe. As life went on, I started my family but was always felt empty without my best friend. When Alyssa and Cory met, I knew that he was the right one for her. As they began to build their lives together, I also began to get her back. He is kind and supportive, and I know that in his arms my sister will always be safe.

Hey there! My name is Joe and I met Alyssa in grad school. Even though I haven’t known her very long, our friendship was almost instant. We have the same nerdy tastes in comics and movies, and we both have the same general outlook on the world. Alyssa is compassionate, sentimental, but also practical and will also really kick your butt in board games. I am also compassionate and sentimental but generally I am the first person to die in board games. So we never play them together... unless there’s wine. Alyssa always lures me with wine.

Hi! My name is Teddy. For context, I have been described as an odd duck; this is important because Cory is amongst the silliest of gooses, which makes me very fortunate to have shared this earth with him. We met during Freshman year at WashU, when Cory's delightful nature was only slightly apparent (this was mostly my doing). Over the next four years of college, Cory's luminescent and captivating ways of being more fully emerged, revealing a man of tremendous character, leadership, and ridiculousness (this was mostly his doing). Since college, Cory continues to demonstrate the true meaning of love, support, and friendship. Celebrating Cory's and Alyssa's love and relationship is such an honor and privilege.

I met Alyssa sophomore year of college when I decided to join the sorority Alpha Chi Omega and she was paired with me as my "Guardian Angel". It took a few hours for me to open up with her that Bid Day, as we both tend to stay on the quiet side (at first), but as soon as she laughed at me cheating during our game of miniature golf, I knew we would get along. In fact, we got along so well that she grew from my Guardian Angel to my Big to my roommate and one of my best friends. We've laughed together, I'm sure cried together, though I've erased those times from my memory, and drank many bottles of wine together. Alyssa is one of the kindest, most nurturing souls I know (even though the fish I got her mysteriously disappeared one day). I cannot wait to watch her get married in September.
