We have the fondest of memories of this burger spot because it’s where we had our first date! It can get a little crowded so be sure to use the Yelp app’s waitlist feature to avoid long waits.
We love going to L.A. Jackson! It’s a rooftop bar in the Gulch on top of the Thompson Hotel with a beautiful view of the city. Alyson loves the frosé, especially in the summer.
Ben’s favorite Nashville Hot Chicken place has multiple locations throughout town. Be sure to order online for pick up because every location has long lines throughout the day!
A Nashville classic! Learn about some of the history of this city and Nashville’s roots in country music. Head to Hatch Show Print right next door after to check out their famous posters and pick up a souvenir of the city.
A trip to Nashville isn’t complete without strolling Broadway to see the honky tonks that made this city famous. Many of the bars on Broadway have rooftop bars to get a great view of the skyline, but George Jones is Ben’s favorite for a view of the Cumberland River and Nissan stadium.
We both love Vanderbilt for a variety of reasons but mostly because it’s where we met. We recommend walking around to see the beautiful campus and enjoy the arboretum!
We love Christie Cookies (especially their brookies), but we recommend anywhere on 12th South! This neighborhood has plenty of boutiques to spend time browsing as well as fun coffee shops like Frothy Monkey and even our favorite barbecue place, Edley's. No matter what you choose to do on 12th South, we recommend spending time walking around the neighborhood and snapping some pictures in front of their murals.
If Broadway isn't your scene, we highly recommend Patterson House. You may have a wait to get seated at this speakeasy, but you can always walk around Midtown to pass the time.
While we both love ice cream, Alyson has a major sweet tooth. Stop by Jeni's to enjoy unique flavors like our favorites brown butter almond brittle and brambleberry crisp.
A beautiful garden with a small art exhibit, Cheekwood is a favorite of ours.
This historic site offers both self-guided tours and a backstage tour to see the stage that brought fame to many artists.
