Thankfully, our ceremony and reception spaces both have window walls that can be pushed aside to create ventilation and an indoor/outdoor space. While we are assigning tables to our guests to assist with seating, there will be open tables unassigned which will provide a less crowded and safer option for guests who would like to dine away from others. We’re also asking that all guests receive a COVID vaccination prior to our event in order to keep other guests safe at our event. We kindly ask all guests to be responsible and limit risky behaviors prior to attending our wedding, and please stay home if you or a member of your household feels ill.
If you're debating renting a car, we would recommend against it as ride-sharing is very easy in Nashville, and parking can be challenging. We will have a shuttle from the venue to the host hotel on our wedding day. For those staying at the Renaissance, they have a free car service that can drive you within a 3 mile radius. If you're driving to Nashville or prefer to have your own car, the Renaissance is connected to a private parking garage you can use for $13 a day.
Please let us know on your RSVP card about your allergy or special food request, and we'll work with the caterer for you.
We recommend dressing in cocktail or semi-formal attire. Cocktail attire can mean suits and cocktail dresses, but we love our guests and care more about your presence than what you wear! If you have specific questions about what you'd like to wear, feel free to reach out to either of us!
We recommend you take a look at our Things to Do page for some of our favorite places in the city. If you're looking for more places or a recommendation for a specific need, reach out to either of us!
While we don't have a formal after-party, Ben and Alyson will be returning to the Renaissance after the wedding and would love for our friends and family to join us! We will be at the Bridge Bar on the second floor of the Renaissance for a convenient space to continue our celebration with loved ones.
We kindly ask that you leave your phones and digital cameras in your pockets or purses during our ceremony. We ask that you truly be a part of our ceremony and not watch or record it through your screens. Our lovely photographers and videographers will get much better shots this way. For the remainder of the evening, photos and videos are encouraged!
