Matron of Honor
Big Sister Extraordinaire A ten-year age difference did not stop Amber and Alysia from being thick as thieves as sisters. When Amber grew up and moved out, and Alysia was still at home, the two would talk for hours on the phone. Now, they still do! Amber is a fun-loving, crafty, active sports mom with a laugh-out-loud attitude! Amber's favorite memory of the Bride? “Probably dressing her up in my clothes when she was little." Yep, love ya, too, sis!
Best Man
Brother, The "Favorite" Nick and Chris didn’t always see eye-to-eye, in fact, they used to fight quite often. The sibling rivalry eventually passed and the two came out friends. Chris has always been able to rely on Nick for help on everything, from moving to advice on the engagement. Now he’s relying on him again, to be the best man in the wedding and to help see him through, and Chris wouldn’t have it any other way!
Bridesmaid
The Best Niece Ever Alysia first met Bri on a chilly October morning in 2005 at about 1:00 a.m. Fourteen years later, Bri is the sweetest teen you’ll ever meet! She’s an accomplished athlete and academic, with a personality that is effervescent and kind in equal measure. Fun fact: her keen eye for interior decorating could rival Joanna Gaines. Just sayin’.
Groomsman
Brother, Gaming Prodigy Ten years’ difference in age didn’t stop Drew and Chris from hanging out growing up. From changing the occasional diaper to babysitting to gaming together, Chris has always enjoyed the time spent with his youngest brother (even if we occasionally annoy each other!). Now Drew is always there when Chris needs a trusty partner on Rocket League or a DPS to protect him on Overwatch, not to mention his advice on great games. That great taste confirmed to Chris that he’d made the right choice in Alysia when Drew started calling her Big Sis.

Best Friend, Mad Novelist Once upon a time, Amanda was the “new girl” in middle school. As her luck would have it, there was never a motlier assemblage of misfit friends than the one that found her on her very first day. Alysia, being well-established in this hodge-podge gang, takes full credit for “adopting” Amanda. The rest, as they say, is herstory. Amanda is a freelance writer with a self-published middle-grade fiction novel, Maple Street—a fun non-scary reimagining of our favorite Halloween characters!
Jr Groomsman, Ring Bearer
Multi-talented Superkid Brady was born Alysia’s favorite nephew, and nothing will ever change that. But anyone who sees Chris and Brady hanging out having fun would think they were uncle and nephew the whole time! Between Nerf wars, Rocket League, and popcorn movie nights, it’s clear these boys are bros for life, so finding this kid a place in the wedding was an absolute no-brainer! Brady plays select baseball, and he also likes basketball, football, playing video games, and hanging out with his family’s new puppy!
Bridesmaid
Best Friend, Space Admiral There’s something special about friends you make in a bookstore. There’s something unique about friends you make working retail together. Surely there’s nothing quite so singular as a friend you make working together in a bookstore. Meet Jax. Alysia’s best science friend for who cares how many years! Alysia and Jax once saw Bill Nye speak in person (Chris was there, too), and they love to geek-out over all things space, science, and books! Also, doggos. And cats. Alysia helped Jax pack and move twice, so even though Jax lives in Reno for now, Alysia lives in St. Louis and knows all of Jax’s secrets!
Flower Girl
The Cleverest Creative Being Alysia’s youngest cousin, she just could not resist having Charlee as a flower girl. Whenever the family gets together, this girl brings the fun! Be it card games or crafts, dancing or sharing stories, Charlee is the anti-boredom genius. Charlee’s bubbly and outgoing attitude charms everyone she meets!
