The To and From

Yay Travel!! Placerville is closest to Sacramento International Airport, just one hour drive. Other options are Oakland International, one and a half to two hours away depending on traffic. Reno International is just under two and a half hours away and you get to drive through lovely Lake Tahoe. Finally, San Francisco and San Jose Airports are also two and a half hours even with the likely traffic. Below I linked my two favorite hotels in the area, along with an AirBNB suggestion. Cameron Park also has several hotels and is a short drive up the highway. There are a bunch more AirBNB's, just make sure to look at the map of where it is, the city limits of Placerville span out on some windy roads to the north of Highway 50, and can be a half hour away or more. "Apple Hill" is the area of Placerville where our home is. The town of Camino for AirBNB's would also work as a short drive. 2508 Hassler rd, Camino CA

Travel Note

From Highway 50 East

Take Schnell School Rd Exit. Turn Left off the freeway, (North). Continue to the stop sign, turn right, Carson Ridge Road. Enjoy the scenery of the local vineyards and apple orchards. The first road you are able to turn left onto is Union Ridge Road, in front of Ables Acres. Take the left there, at the first stop sign stay right onto Hassler Road. Go straight through the one stop sign, first driveway on your Right is US! continue to the top of the private drive and stay straight on, we will help you park! You Have arrived!
