Question

How do I RSVP? When is my response due?

Answer

You can RSVP by using the tearaway card on your invitation. Or, you are welcome to simply use the RSVP button on this website! The responses are due by September 10th.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love all the little ones in the family, due to limited space as well as the serving of alcohol, we kindly ask that children under the age of 12 remain at home.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Examples for women include: a midi dress, maxi dress, jumpsuit, or suit. Examples for men include: a suit or a dress shirt with slacks and a blazer, tie is optional. No jeans, please!

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3pm. Our ceremony begins at 3:30, and doors will not reopen again until the ceremony concludes.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we ask that only the allotted number of guests on your invitation attend. Thank you!

Where should I sit?

Answer

During the ceremony, (aside from the reserved rows) please sit on whichever side you'd like! For dinner, we will have place cards.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means that we'd like our guests to be present with us while we take this step, and allow the photographers to capture the moment for us. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you like!

What is for dinner? When do I need to decide on my entree?

Answer

For hors d'oeurves we will have mini caprese skewers, BBQ chicken drumettes, and vegetable spring rolls with a sweet chili sauce. We will also have caesar salad and house made dinner rolls. For entrees, guests will have the option of: 10 oz prime rib (served with garlic mashed potatoes, chefs vegetable, aus jus, and creamy horseradish sauce), or chicken piccata (served with fingerling potatoes, asparagus, and a sauce of lemon, capers, and white wine), or roasted vegetable lasagna (roasted seasonal vegetables layered with a house pomodoro sauce, ricotta, parmesan cheese, and herbs), or oven roasted salmon (served with beurre blanc, garlic mashed potatoes and chef’s vegetables). Please let us know your selection as well as any dietary restrictions by October 1st.

Open bar?

Answer

We will have an open bar for a total of 4 hours- 1 during cocktail hour, and 3 during the reception.

Do I need to bring a gift?

Answer

No, gifts are never expected, but always appreciated. Your presence on our special day is what is most important, however, if you should like to gift, our registry is linked on this site.

Should I still come if I can only attend part of the celebration?

Answer

Absolutely! We are grateful for anybody willing to take time out of their day to celebrate with us, even if it isn't for the whole day. Please let us know when to expect you!

When should I go home?

Answer

Last call is at 10:30, we kindly ask that guests leave by 10:45 so we can focus on cleaning up.

Answer

Holiday Inn Express in Elkart, Four Points by Sheraton in Elkart, or Quality Inn and Suites in Niles
