Ethan and Alys first crossed paths in Psychology class, where Ethan spent most of the class trying to earn a smile or a laugh from Alys. It wasn’t until the end of that school year, during study hall, that they would truly grow close. Their conversations about their interests and hobbies would last the whole two hours, and each one led to them slowly realizing how taken with the other they were. After a few weeks, they each told the other about how they felt, and it wasn’t long after that they started dating.

After months of planning, asking for blessings, and a nerve-wracking trip through the airport with a hidden ring, it all came down to one moment. On the beach in Mexico, Ethan set up his phone as a camera and suggested that him and Alys should take some photos by the ocean. Then, with a roaring heart in his chest, Ethan kneeled down and asked Alys to marry him. The sight of her face when she said 'yes' is something he’ll never forget.

Since they met, Ethan and Alys have spent time finding new things they love to do together! They've spent time traveling both inside and outside of the country. They've visited Washington, the Upper Peninsula, Wisconsin, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. They enjoy solving mysteries, whether through watching and theorizing about true crime or through board games like Hunt a Killer. They also both love spending time watching shows together and reading books to one another. Along with that, they love seeing shows on Broadway!
