IMPORTANT ROOM INFORMATION: There are two different room options you can choose from. There are regular rooms as well as “elite club” rooms. If you choose the elite club room you receive extra perks during your stay. Please see what the “elite room” includes below. It is NOT required for you to get an elite club room. However, please note that there is one swimming pool and one dinner restaurant that you will not have access to during your stay as it is for "elite club" room reservations only. Click "MY RIU CLASS" and sign up for this. This allows you to get a discounted price during booking. It will ask you for the recommendation number, please enter number 98577419 in this spot. CLICK THE "VIEW" BUTTON BELOW. This will take you directly to the resort website. After picking the dates and clicking "book now", it will take you to another page. Make sure you click "Hotel RIU Palace Kukulkan." You can book through this link. If you find it cheaper on a different vacation/travel website, feel free to book it through them. Just make sure it is an authentic booking site. If you book your reservation directly though the RIU page, you have the option to pay now OR pay at the hotel when you arrive.

Flight

For booking flights, you are in charge of deciding what airport and what airline you would like to use. If you plan on staying the whole week and would like to fly in with Max and I, please let us know and we will get together to discuss flights. There are shuttles with RIU resorts that will pick you up from the Cancun airport. It is a 20 minute shuttle ride to the resort. We will have more information on the shuttles closer to the wedding date once I receive the RSVP's. You can book your flight at any time. We recommend checking multiple different airlines to get the best price possible.

If you can't make the trip, we completely understand. We know this is a big ask!

We will be having a large reception back in Madison to celebrate after we return (date TBD). Detailed invitations will be sent out shortly after we return from Mexico. This will allow us to be able to celebrate with the friends and family that could not make this trip.

Friendly reminder: Call your bank and let them know the exact dates you will be in Mexico. This ensures all cards used will not cause issues upon arrival. Since this is an all inclusive, there are many great waitstaff that will be catering to you during your stay. With gratuities included, you have the option to tip or not. Please make sure you bring cash to tip before arrival to avoid additional withdrawal fees at the resort. You will need a passport for this trip. Please make sure you have one and that it is not going to expire soon. It is recommended that your passport should have at least 6 months of validity remaining from the date of your departure.
