Maid of Honor
Not many people you can say you have been friends with your entire life, but Renee truly wouldn't know where she would be without this one with her through everything. Renee had the honor of being her Maid of Honor and is already tearing up thinking about getting to have her best friend share this day with her. Get ready to dance to lots of Mamma Mia with them!
Best Man
A brother, a teammate and a great friend. There is a lot to say about this friendship that started in an apartment in Hickory, NC. Wes and Josh have been friends since 2016 when they were roommates and every year since then they have been close. His amazing wife Brittany and himself have truly been there for Josh and even Renee through the ups and downs of life. Wes is the brother that Josh never had through the many times they have picked each other up.
Bridesmaid
A fellow Olivet teacher, Renee and Jill actually shared a class together and yet oddly enough "met" when Renee was working a hostess shift at a restaurant. Months later met again at a church group! This girl is the perfect example that God brings the right people into your life exactly when you need them. She's an answered prayer and someone who was there to watch this relationship form before anyone else!
Groomsman
A friendship that started on Xbox, has truly turned into a brother and a second family. Josh met Slats back in high school playing Xbox and eventually met in person at a Blackhawks game. Turns out their lockers were only a few spaces apart. Slats was with Josh through the crazy high school years, getting to watch each other mature year after year. He and his own wife Ally have always been there just like old times.
Bridesmaid
Another friend met through a church group, Katie is the sweetest and friendliest person you could ever meet. On top of always being the go-to party planner to bring people together, the bride would never trust her hair with anyone else! Renee couldn't be luckier to have gained this girl as such a close friend to depend on in the past couple years.
Groomsman
The definition of growing up together. RT and Josh were neighborhood pals growing up "kiddie-corner" of one another. In their years growing up together, they never actually walked up to the front door because they would just hop the fences into each other lives. A man in Josh's life always known for his, "How you doin' man?" greeting and big bear hug. This friendship has been through everything from the awkward grade school years, many bro talks, and a lot more life changes!
Bridesmaid
Renee first met Bekah through playing sand volleyball and then realized how small of a world we all live in. Not only do they both have a thing for baseball players, but their husbands played together in the same youth league when they were younger! Aside from that however, Bekah has been there for Renee as someone to always depend on for a laugh and honest conversation, but more important to pray whole heartedly for this marriage.
Groomsman
What to say about Phil. Phil and Josh met in college actually before he was even an official student at Olivet. He is a guy full of life and fun. Phil is an energy giver to people and I'm sure his wife Natalia and baby Emilia could attest that maybe he has too much of it sometimes. Phil and Josh frequently still hang out for "breakfast club" and many other times to just remain close. Josh would not know where he would be today without for Phil and this friendship. Also if anyone is looking for where to get the soiree started, just ask Phil!
Bridesmaid
Renee has been fortunate enough to have met Natalia in this past year through a bible study, and what a blessing she has been! Natalia is the best cheerleader, encourager, word of honest advice, and so incredibly thoughtful! When you meet someone like Natalia, you can't help but want someone like her to cheer you on for your big day and share in all the excitement with!
Groomsman
Nolan out of any man up here with Josh has probably known him the longest. But this friendship is something that's truly special. This bond between them is the one that led Josh into his faith journey. Nolan has not just been a friend but longest brother in Christ. Nolan also arguably is one of Josh's biggest baseball fans as he still would probably love a chance to strike Josh out. If you're looking for just some great conversation and someone who can put a smile on your face, Nolan can always do that!
