It's funny how you can grow up neighborhoods next to each other, go to the same high school, even the same college, have several mutual friends, and yet never cross paths or meet one another personally. Not until a few years later while Josh was thousands of miles away in North Carolina playing for the Woodducks and Renee noticed a familiar face on a dating app. Yes its true we "swiped right" on one another on Hinge, and no, Hinge has not yet reached out to sponsor the wedding. From there on it quickly became conversations that lasted for hours, late phone calls into the early mornings, and a whole lot of anticipation for Josh to finally come home so we can meet in person. We were honestly both smitten before even ever meeting face to face. When the day finally did come, it only took ten more days before we were official, and then after lots of adventures, laughs, and amazing memories later, Josh was down on a knee April 16th. We opted for the short engagement because we're ready to start our lives together and celebrate with everyone who has supported us our entire lives. We so hope you can be a part of starting our forever.
