We recommend flying to the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) as it is the primary airport in O'ahu. It is conveniently located in Honolulu and just a drive away from Waikiki, Kailua, Kapolei, and the North Shore.

Airbnb

Airbnb is another great option for lodging when visiting the island! There are many options that include parking, which is often an additional fee when staying at resorts. This is the way to go if you don't plan to utilize the amenities that resorts offer!

Travel Note

Getting Around the Island

While renting a car is an option, it's not required. Guests can easily take an Uber/Lyft from the airport to Waikiki (9 miles away, 17 minute drive), as well as other parts of the island. There are plenty of things to do in Waikiki, yet we highly encourage you take the opportunity to explore the entire island to appreciate the rich beauty, culture, nature, and food O'ahu has to offer. A rental car will give you easy access to various corners of the island, especially when Ubers/Lyfts become scarce in the evening. On the day of the wedding, shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the venue. Stay tuned for more details!
