Depending on your travel, you'll only need a rental car getting to Aspen but you don't need a one once you get to town. Aspen is very walkable and there are ample options to get around town (Uber, e-bicycles, public bus)
There are 3 airport options to choose from: - Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is directly in Aspen, only a 10min Uber to the hotel - Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is a 1.5 hour drive to Aspen - Denver International Airport (DEN) is a 3.5 hour drive to Aspen, but the most cost friendly option

Aspen experiences a typical high mountain climate, with larger temperature variations between daytime and nighttime. SPAM weekend temperatures are projected to be in the mid-60s to mid-70s during the day, with nights dropping into the 40s. Please bring layers!
The town of Aspen is situated at approximately 7,900 feet (2,422 meters) above sea level and is considered a “high altitude” mountain location which means lower oxygen levels and lower atmospheric pressure. While everyone acclimates differently, it's always best to start drinking water early and stay hydrated throughout the weekend!
