While we would have loved to have all our friends and family present, COVID had other plans. We do plan to have some kind of stream available the day of and hopefully a short edited video of the day’s highlights to share with anyone who cares to watch. Check back later for links and more info on that. ****Brainstorming best ways to use #alprorayrayweddingday to connect on social media to share the day’s celebration remotely!***
Tastings with the caterer were delayed but we do know we'll have options for vegetarian, beef, and seafood. The likely candidates for each would be a marinated squash or creamy polenta, tenderloin or prime rib, or salmon or half lobster. Separate options will likely be arranged for the younger kids. There will be an open bar.
Dane County including Madison currently has a similar mandate in place. Just want to keep everyone up to date. The governor has ordered an indoor mask mandate through 9/28. ***UPDATE: current county mandate limits indoor gatherings to 10 or less so we are moving everything outside. In the event of rain we will have a tent but heaters may not be permitted on them so please bring a shawl or something else for warmth! We will have masks available for anyone who does not have their own. https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/WIGOV/2020/07/30/file_attachments/1507337/EMO01-FaceCoverings.pdf
Our unofficial block has been moved from Hotel Indigo to The Edgewater. The Edgewater does have a large patio on the lake with an outdoor bar that we’re told they plan to have open the night of the wedding.
