Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park

Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park

72 McBride Avenue Extension, Paterson, NJ 07501

The Paterson Falls are located in Paterson, New Jersey, and are 77 feet high and 260 feet wide. More than 2 billion gallons of water rush over the falls daily. The Paterson Falls are the 2nd largest waterfall, by volume, east of the Mississippi River, behind only Niagara Falls. The Paterson Falls are located just 12 miles west of New York City and are home to the largest and best example of early manufacturing mills in the United States. The Paterson Falls contain 18th, 19th, and 20th-century waterpower remnants, including a three-tiered water raceway system. Waterfalls, ancient geology, engineering landmarks, and the economic birth of a new nation - these are just a few of the things you will discover on your visit to the City of Paterson and the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park. Operating Hours: Though the grounds are available 24 hours per day, the best time to visit is between sunrise and sunset.

Calandra's Mediterranean Grill

Calandra's Mediterranean Grill

118 U.S. 46, Fairfield, NJ 07004

Today, Calandra’s Bakery in Newark is a 50,000 square foot operation and the family now has two additional bakeries, one in Fairfield and one in Caldwell. The three bakeries deliver their products to more than 500 supermarkets, delis, and restaurants in the tri-state area. In addition to their bakeries, the Calandra family now owns and operates several hotels, restaurants, and apartment buildings in northern New Jersey. The family also produces and sells their own line of olive oil, coffee, fresh pasta, homemade sauces, and wines from their vineyard in Italy. Although the family’s business has grown substantially since 1962, two things remain unchanged: Calandra’s Bakery is still synonymous with delicious bread, and the family remains driven by hard work, traditional family values, and a focus on customer service.
