Tel-Aviv is quickly making a name for itself as one of the top gay destinations in the world! The Tel Aviv Pride Parade will occur on June 9 with events surrounding that day. You will be able to see more information on the official website at around January (no promise)
THIS IS A MUST! In between all the events we are planning for you, we recommend you find the time to visit our favorite hummus place (and order our favorite dish - Masabacha). This restaurant is split into two locations, one across the other and offers hummus as a hot main dish with various sides. IMPORTANT: The place opens in the morning and closes when they're out of hummus - at around 3pm. They take card payment but tipping is in cash.
One of our favorite places! During the day, you can enjoy good food, local art vendors and people who like to haggle for prices. During the night, the bars come to life, chill vibes, fairy lights everywhere and amazing late night snacks.
Craving a taste of home? Although the cheesy name, America Burgers has one of the best burgers in Tel Aviv. Take out or delivery might be a better option if you don't feel like waiting in line for a table :)
Elegant Rothschild Boulevard (Sederot Rothschild) cuts through the heart of Tel Aviv’s UNESCO-listed White City. This is one of the city’s busiest cultural and nightlife districts. Modern skyscrapers rise above traditional Bauhaus buildings, which double up as restaurants, shops and upscale residences. Splitting Rothschild Boulevard into two sections is a central garden, where locals meet to chat and linger at coffee shops.
Browse markets and galleries, watch a unique theater show or simply enjoy the views of the Mediterranean at one of the most famous ancient ports in the world. Jaffa Port has an ancient history that precedes the Bible stories that made this port world famous. Come here early to sample some fresh produce from the Jaffa Port Market and buy freshly caught fish straight from the fishing boats, then take in the sights and visit the shops and galleries.
