The oldest sister! The one that has lead the pack; the first to model a healthy marriage, and the first to push herself to go through the stress of college. Although the 8 year gap didn’t allow them to have a close bond growing up, they are closer than ever now. Jesse often laughs when Alma’s phone rings because 9 times out of 10, it’s her calling.

Faby, the reason Alma met Jesse. Back in 7th grade she was the one to ask if Alma knew a Jesse Raya. Alma went around asking for a Jesse Raya only to find out that wasn’t his real name, lol. Faby is the sister that is always eager to drop whatever she is doing to help a struggling sister out and the one to brag to her friends about all of the great things Alma is doing no matter how small those accomplishments may be.

They met at UCSC and Alma was quick to write her off. Little did she know that Christine would become her housemate and biggest cheerleader. Christine’s brutal honesty, leadership skills and love for outdoors have helped Alma step out of her comfort zone and be a better person. Christine’s friendship is so genuine and loving that she even helped organize dates for Alma and Jesse when Alma was too stressed with school and work. Lastly, Christine has played therapist, always having both their interest in mind rather than just siding with Alma, even though that’s what Alma wants at times lol.

Jr! Although he was an annoying little kid, he has grown to be one of Alma’s favorite cousins. He is the one person Alma can count on for a fun night out, although he has no recollection of any of those nights. Less than 2 years apart, they always grew up playing together and as adults they continue to give themselves that joy of having fun while together.

The true definition of a friend! Jesse’s brother from another mother, partner in crime, right hand man, and the one who has always been in Jesse’s corner. No matter the distance or time apart, these kids never miss a step. Blood means you’re related, but loyalty, respect, compromise, and trust is what makes Marco family. Unforgettable and unspeakable memories have been made between these two, but this is only the beginning. Cheers carnal! 🍻

The oldest of the Raya brothers. Jesses “Uber” ride home from any occasion before Uber was a thing. One of Jesse’s first role models and the reason Jesse started “lifting”. He always goes above and beyond to lend Jesse a hand and of course one of the main reasons Jesse met the love of his life😉. Thanks my guy!

The second oldest of the Raya brothers. The most creative and witty of the bunch but also Jesse’s biggest bully growing up😅. Which in return led to creative ways to bully Jesse. Needless to say, they grew out of that phase and he’s somebody Jesse can always count on no matter the situation. Much love bro!

The third oldest of the Raya brothers. Being the closest in age to Jesse means they shared the most. Starting with toys, to clothes, a bed, countless adventures, and of course the occasional fist fight (he’s a firecracker with a short fuse😅). Fist fights aside, this dude is one of the most loyal, genuine and know he will always have my back. Appreciate you B!

The one and only “B-Nasty”!! Don’t ask... Aside from the other 4 groomsmen, Brandon is always down for anything and that’s an understatement. Always a call or text away, Jesse knows Brandon will go the extra mile to be there for him and it has been proven countless times. Literally!
