Eyanna and Mike first met when they did a production of The Rocky Horror Show at the Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre in 2014, but they only said about 10 words to each other throughout the entire rehearsal process. It wasn’t until the following year, at a Halloween party where she was dressed up as a naked Sim (pixelization and all) and he was dressed up as Walter White (tighty whities and all), that they actually started talking to each other. Their relationship blossomed over their shared love of musical theatre, Disney, dogs, and folk music. For Mike, he knew that he found someone special when he introduced Eyanna to Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 and she loved it as much as he did. For Eyanna, she knew Mike was the right one for her because he’s handsome, funny, and has a cute butt. Their first date was at a Japanese restaurant where they were the only ones there and the waitress had silver grillz on her teeth. Even still, they talked about their favorite Sondheim musicals (that night they talked about Sunday in the Park with George, specifically) and shared their hopes and dreams of the future. From that day on, they met up almost daily at local restaurants -- Bottlenecks, Bart & Urby’s, Franklins, Arena, La Tolteca -- and spent hours talking. And when the restaurants closed for the night, they’d hang out at the casino, exploring the betting floor and trying to open all the closed doors in search of behind-the-scenes secrets. Together, they always wanted to go on adventures. And, to end the night, they’d almost always find themselves at the top of a parking garage, listening to the most beautiful songs they could find, and watching the stars, hoping that they, too, would see a comet that would change their lives. Little did they know that they were both each other’s comet and, together, their love would “blossom into a new life” together. From monthly trips to New York City where they saw Great Comet five times (and they would’ve seen it a dozen more times if it didn’t close early), to “hiking” at Ricketts Glen, to driving around aimlessly for hours, to sharing too many stage kisses together to count, to getting their favorite pierogi pup, Sydney, to designing shows together, to going to the movies just so they could eat Cinemark popcorn together, to visiting Disney way too much, to geeking out over anything remotely artistic, to sitting on the couch playing video games -- they truly found their other half; the missing piece that makes them whole. On June 26, 2021, Mike and Eyanna went on a trip to the Angry Orchard Brewing Company with some of their closest friends. Mike asked Eyanna if she would walk through the apple orchard with him so that they could take some pictures. While posing for a picture overlooking the scenic apple orchard, Mike proposed to Eyanna. After six years together, it was no surprise when she, through tears, said “Yes!” They spent the rest of the day drinking hard cider and celebrating! And now, on June 3, 2023, at the beautiful Bush House Estate, Eyanna and Mike are excited to share their wedding day with you, as they start to write the next chapter of their lives together. They’re almost 100% sure that this is going to be a bestseller!
