Train
NYC - Hudson. Board at 11:20 am - Arrive at 1:20pm Board the train at Penn Station and enjoy a 2 hour scenic view of upstate New York until departing the train at the Hudson stop. The train station is only a few blocks away from the Basilica Hudson - you'll be able to see it from the station. This is the latest train to arrive before the ceremony begins - and it allows a little time to have a drink or two at The Wick Restaurant and Lobby Bar by going straight ahead on Cross street (about a 2 minute walk) before heading up to the Basilica Hudson.
Travel Note
The Basilica Hudson was converted into a unique event space in 2010 from a 19th-century foundry that produced railroad car wheels. The venue has gorgeous high ceilings and giant windows with raw, industrial touches throughout. Because of the nature of the space, the inside temperature is dependent on the weather - there is a large heater, but if it's a particularly chilly April night, you'll want to make sure you have a sweater, just in case. Also - please wear comfortable shoes! It is a bit of a walk from the train station to the venue over uneven road and gravel (plus the Basilica has a cement floor with some cracks). You'll also not want to feel inhibited when the music hits you and it's time to dance!
Travel Note
Uber is an option, but not an entirely reliable one. Cars are not readily available in Hudson, so long wait times are expected.

Shuttle
April 3, 2022 12:00 am - 2:00 am
As long as there is enough interest, a shuttle bus will be provided from the Basilica Hudson back to Manhattan, as taking Amtrak isn't an option after 7:30 (and we don't want anyone to have to leave the reception early!). Please indicate if you would be interested in returning to Manhattan on the shuttle bus after the reception.
