Hiking with the Future Hill's

8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Rocky Mountain National Park
Estes Park, CO

Layers and Hiking Boots! At this time of year, you can expect snow/ice to likely cover many of the trails. Poles & Micro-Spikes/YakTrax for your boots may be helpful if you have them!

We will meet at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. RMNP charges access to the park per vehicle, so carpooling with friends will likely be best. Depending on how many are interested in hiking, we may be able to stay in one group, or, to ensure the best experience for everyone, break up into smaller groups. Casual Stroll Group: Sprague Lake. This is a hard-packed .8 mile trail around the lake with beautiful panoramic views of the divide. Easy Trail Hike: Bear Lake --> Alberta Falls. This is an easy out and back hike. There is parking at the Bear Lake trailhead, and the falls are gorgeous! Moderate Trail Hike: Bear Lake --> Mills Lake. This hike offers plenty of beautiful views of the park, and is a 6.8 mile out and back. This time of year micro spikes and/or poles are a must for hikes at this elevation. Trail conditions have recently been reported as snow-covered and somewhat icy. But, if you're up for the challenge, the views from Mills Lake are worth every step!

Meet & Greet

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

THE BARREL - Estes Park
251 Moraine Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517

Colorado Casual. Stay warm, people!

This is a very informal get together. We just wanted an excuse to say hey and grab a beer with everyone before the big day! The Barrel is a great little taproom and beer garden with a laid back atmosphere and plenty of choices on tap. The La Cocina de Mama Food Truck is scheduled to be there from 12:00-7:00 p.m., so it's a perfect spot to grab a quick, casual bite if that tickles your fancy!

Ceremony & Reception

3:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Semi-Formal Attire

If possible, it is advisable to carpool to the Black Canyon Inn. Parking is limited in the area closest to the ceremony and reception site. There is additional overflow parking back toward the entrance of the property that is a short (though uphill) walk to the venue. Fruit will be served during the cocktail hour at the conclusion of the ceremony. Dinner and dancing will follow shortly thereafter.
