If you’re flying into town, the closest airport is South Bend International Airport—about 15 minutes from Notre Dame’s campus. Because it’s a smaller airport, flights can be pricier, so we also recommend looking at Chicago’s O’Hare or Midway airports. From Chicago, you can get to Notre Dame by rental car or by train (Amtrak or the South Shore Line). The drive from either Chicago airport is roughly two hours.
