Hotel
Book through the link below. We will have the Penthouse suite here so, we'd love for as many folks as possible to stay here and pop up and say hello throughout the weekend. We secured a special guest rate for our block but rooms are limited so book 'em sooner than later. Seriously, book the hotel now!
Travel Note
We highly recommend flying into SFO as opposed to OAK. The Harvey Milk terminal at SFO is simply *chef's kiss* and transportation is much easier from SFO.
Travel Note
Please download a ride share app (we recommend Waymo for a clean and driverless car) before ya get here and carpool as much as you can to the various events. If you have any questions about transportation please ask and we can point ya in the right direction. Give yourself plenty of time to get places. It can take 30 minutes to get from the hotel to the various venues if the traffic is bad. If you rent a car, great but please remember that parking can be challenging and $$.
Train
Public transportation is decent and safe so go for it! Please leave yourself plenty of time as some lines only run ever 10 - 15 minutes. You can put $$ on a mobile Clipper card (link below) and that will work for all lines. You'll also look so cute bopping around town in a trolley!

#1 they're on the BDS list - you don't wanna be a scab, do ya? #2 Due to the heavy regulations (which we love), there's not a ton of options, particularly for larger places. Remember, we're a city, baby! #3 Neighborhoods can change drastically from block to block. While San Francisco is a far cry from the doom loop you see on the news, in reality there are parts that really do smell like fecal matter and have a high likelihood of petty theft (tangentially related - wouldn't it be amazing if everyone had housing? And yes, the large volume of unhoused folks are a result of a series of 'strategic choices' made by 'society' and 'the government'. For more on why budgets are moral documents, see the schedule section of this website.)

tl;dr -- don't leave anything in your car. Ever. Should you choose to rent a car- which could be really fun if you want to go exploring after the events -- under no circumstances can you leave anything in your car. Let's play out a couple scenarios: 1. You just checked out of the hotel. You're riding high from a combination of poppers and late night taco bell. You can smell the open road ahead of you. You blink your eyes open and for a second you think to yourself, "wait wait, am I Jack Kerouac?" And just like that, you're back to reality. Self-driving cars honk, and some bro in a vest on an electric unicycle zooms by. Jolted back to reality, you're still excited for your roadtrip, but find yourself in need of car snacks. You think to yourself "cool, I'll just park and leave my suitcase in the car and run into the convenience store real quick." This is a mistake. You come back after grabbing a bag of flammin' hot cheetos and a lemon-lime gatorade to find your windows smashed. Not only is your buzz gone, but so is your luggage. 2. Picture this. You're a highly motivated individual and decide to go on a run the morning of the wedding (get it, girl). You drive to Chrissy Field to feel the wind in your hair and bathe in the beauty of the golden gate. As you're getting out of the car, you're pleasantly surprised to find that you don't need your jacket and you don't really want to carry your fanny pack on your run. Innocently, you leave your jacket and fanny on the front seat. You head out on your run, taking in the natural beauty of the California coastline thinking to yourself "wow, how might we protect this beauty from the oligarchs?" As you're returning to your vehicle, you see smashed glass adjacent to your parked car. Your Patagonia puffer is gone. And so is the promise of a life without billionaires. These are examples to illustrate a very simple fact - if it's out and visible, it may very likely get stolen.
