Travel

For anyone coming from out of town, we want to make sure NYC is as easy to navigate as possible. Our whole wedding weekend is accessible by public transit, and we encourage you to get around this way rather than by car—it’s easier, more cost effective, and gives you plenty of ways to see the city. While we hope you feel free to explore as much of New York as you'd like, you can also have a great NYC experience all while sticking in Chelsea, the neighborhood where we will be having our ceremony and reception.   Chelsea is a walkable neighborhood of Manhattan along the Hudson River with great dining, hundreds of art galleries, and multiple hotel options. See some starting points for lodging below—and note, prices around the city vary all the time, so we welcome you to do your own searching as well.   There are lots of ways to get to Chelsea, but we think these are the easiest routes from the major transportation hubs:

Flight

LaGuardia

Take the Q70+ bus from LaGuardia to Roosevelt Ave & 74th St. Enter the subway, following signs for the E train. Take the Manhattan-bound E train to 23rd St.

Flight

JFK

Take the AirTrain from JFK to Jamaica Station. Transfer to the subway, following signs for the E train. Take the Manhattan-bound E train to 23rd St.

Flight

Newark

Take the Airport Express bus from Newark toward New York. Get off at W 42nd St & Port Authority Terminal and follow signs to the A C E subway. Take the downtown C or E train to 23rd St.

Train

Grand Central Station
