~Our Story~
James and Ally first met in 2020 at business school, where they ended up in the same section. James thought they were friends — Ally thought they were acquaintances.
After graduation, they each moved to San Francisco. About a year later, a couple of espresso martinis at Balboa Café gave James the courage to make a move — and the rest is history. The two started dating in May 2023.
Since then, Ally, James, and Sophie have been inseparable — spending their time skiing, wine tasting, celebrating friends’ weddings, cheering on Michigan, and traveling.
On May 24, 2025, James proposed in Lafayette Park near their home. To pull off the surprise, he told Ally they had several plans with friends that night. She was completely caught off guard when James got down on one knee - and of course, she said yes!
From classmates to life partners (and Sophie’s proud parents), it’s been a beautiful journey. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of their loved ones!
