Is Uber / Lyft available in the area?

Answer

Yes — Uber and Lyft are available in Wayzata! We encourage everyone to enjoy themselves and get home safely. Just note it may take a few extra minutes to get a car compared to a big city.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes — shuttles will run from the hotel to the ceremony, back to the hotel after the ceremony, and from the ceremony to the afterparty. We will not be providing transportation to and from the Saturday events. Guests can choose to park at 6Smith or use Uber / Lyft!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes. While we will be arranging shuttles to the venue from our designated wedding hotels, there is also plenty of parking available onsite at Lafayette Club if you choose to drive.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We hope that you are still able to attend.

What type of weather should I expect?

Answer

Mid-September in Wayzata usually brings mild, comfortable weather — daytime highs in the low 70s°F and cooler evenings in the 50s°F. It can vary, so bring a light jacket or sweater for the evenings. We recommend keeping an eye on the forecast about a week in advance to pack accordingly!
