Travel Note

Flight
Moffat is roughly 60 miles from both Glasgow (GLA) and Edinburgh (EDI) airports.
Travel Note
You can reach Moffat easily from either Glasgow or Edinburgh using the Stagecoach West Scotland service. From Glasgow: Depart from Buchanan Bus Station toward Carlisle. The trip takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. From Edinburgh: Depart from Edinburgh Bus Station toward Dumfries. The trip takes about 2 hours 15 minutes. In both cases, your stop will be the Esso Garage in Moffat, just a short walk or taxi ride from most hotels and the town center. Tickets can be purchased in advance via the Stagecoach website, mobile app, or at the station.
Train
Take the train from Glasgow Central or Edinburgh Waverley to Lockerbie. Services are provided by ScotRail and other operators. From Lockerbie station, you may transfer to the No. 380 bus at Sydney Place, which will take you to the Esso Garage in Moffat, or you can take a short taxi ride.
