Dress Code
The welcome dinner will be cocktail attire. Think suits, dresses, or jumpsuits.
The wedding will be black tie optional, meaning tuxes or formal suits and floor-length gowns are preferred, but not required.
Many are opting to use the welcome party as an excuse for traditional Scottish dress. There are many rental shops in Glasgow and Edinburgh that will rent full traditional dress, as well as tuxedos, should you prefer to hire one for the wedding day. Feel free to reach out for recommendations.
We've put together a mood board to share the spirit of our celebration, drawn from Scotland in autumn. Think of the soft purple of thistles, the greens of the Highland hills, the the reds and browns of aged scotch barrels, and the warmth of Autumn leaves.
Please note that the mood board is just inspiration should you wish to match the feel of the day. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident!
