If you let Dasia tell the story, she would say that she slid into my DMs and we lived happily ever after. But in all actuality, on March 29, 2021, I slid into HER DMs, asking to go out for drinks. And we did... 5 months later, lol. On August 10, 2021, we went on our first date which is now one of our favorite taco spots. When she walked into the restaurant (almost an hour late, lol), the world stopped. I began to admire her beauty, her energy was contagious, and her smile lit up the whole room. It wasn't five minutes into our date when I already knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Crazy right? But from that day forward, we were inseparable. I knew I had found my best friend, my travel buddy, and now my workout bro, lol. These past couple of years, we have learned so much about each other. We have had a few bumps in the road, but with hard work, we managed to build on this love story. On September 30, 2023, I asked Dasia to spend forever with me. Even though to this day she still thinks it is crazy that I knew I wanted to be with her on the first date, lol.
