Answer

The dress code is Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandles to jeans and buttondowns. Dress for the weather, Indiana can be 70 and sunny or snowing by October! Both our Ceremony and Reception will be outdoors.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP before September 1st, 2022. Those who we recieve RSVPS by that date will be entered to win a special prize given at the wedding. Prepare to bring a lawn chair and a sandwich if you do not RSVP before this date ;)

Question

There was a mistake on my RSVP about the number of people invited, what do I do?

Answer

Since I am human, there are bound to be mistakes on the invitations and RSVP's. Please send an email to allsopkeptnerwedding@gmail.com or call (989) 859-3243 and I will help you adjust the number.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at the following stores: Bed Bath & Beyond and Zola

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 12:00 PM. Please plan to arrive by 11:50 PM, it is a short walk from the Lodge and a little bit into the woods.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have to limit our guest count. On your invitation it will say how many invitations are extended to your party.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! All we ask is that they be respectful to the State Park and during the ceremony. We kindly ask that all parents watch their children and do not allow them to run and play unattened, this is important to the bride and groom as we want everyone to have fun yet responsable time.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony there is plenty of parking around the Abe Martin Lodge. For the reception, there are two large parking lots, one right below the Lower Shelter and one across the street.

Question

What should I do after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony the bride and groom will be immediately whisked away for additional photos at a remote location (please don’t try to stop them!). Guests should head to the Lower Shelter for drinks and appetizers. The reception should begin an hour after the end of the ceremony.

Question

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

An unplugged ceremony just means that we prefer you to be present in the moment and not on your phones, cameras, or other electronic devices. We know everyone is excited to share our marriage and capture the moment, but we have hired professionals to be there to take care of that, so you can take part with your eyes and not your screens. Please help us maintain the intimacy of the moment and allow our photographers to capture our special day unobstructed. We are more than happy to provide guests with photos from the ceremony and reception so that you can help relive the moment. There will be plenty of time at the reception to take candid shots with the Bride and Groom!
