Flight

Nashville International Airport (BNA)

If you'll be flying to Sewanee, we recommend flying into the Nashville International Airport (BNA). It is about 1.5 hours from campus, but flights may be more reasonably priced than Chattanooga.

Chattanooga Airport (CHA)

Chattanooga is closer to Sewanee (about 45 minutes away) than Nashville, but flights tend to be more expensive, since it is a smaller airport. However, we recommend you check out flying into both airports to find your best option!

The Sewanee Inn

We have blocked rooms at the Sewanee Inn. It is the perfect location, at the center of campus, situated right on Sewanee's celebrated 9-hole golf course. This is where we will have our welcome drinks for all guests. It is also very close to All Saints Chapel (ceremony location), with a 2 minute drive or an 11 minute walk. *Please note - we are SO sorry, but all rooms at the Inn are currently booked.

The Smokehouse Lodge

We have blocked 20 rooms ($109/night) at The Smoke House Lodge & Cabins. Located atop the beautiful Cumberland Plateau, the Smoke House Lodge is a newly renovated lodge with a rustic setting just 7 minutes from Sewanee and 5 minutes to Wren's Nest (the reception venue). Your stay is just beside the legendary Smokehouse Restaurant, where many Sewanee students (including the happy couple) frequented many weekend mornings. Mention Norma Michalek when booking. Cancellation policy: cancel your booking via telephone by 6pm the day before check-in.

Quality Inn

We have blocked 25 rooms ($136/night) at the Quality Inn in Monteagle, just 10 minutes from Sewanee, and 6 minutes to Wren's Nest (the reception venue). Please book before 5/5/2021, as these rooms will be released to the public on this date. Mention Norma Michalek when booking. Cancellation policy: cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the date of reservation.

Other Housing Options

Sewanee has plenty of private homes (on campus, yay!) that are often available for rent. This is a great option for young couples or anyone who really just prefers to be on campus. We personally recommend this option over staying in a hotel! Much more convenient, and fun :). Click the link below and scroll down to "Local Accommodations" to view listed private homes for rent.
