Portland International Airport

Please fly into the Portland International Airport (PDX) for our wedding weekend. You will need to rent a car to drive the hour east to Hood River. The town is very walkable, however, there are not Ubers in the area so we highly recommend renting a car. The drive is stunning along the river, make sure you keep your eye out for all the waterfalls along the way!

Best Western Plus Hood River Inn

We absolutely love staying at the Best Western Plus Hood River. Please use the link below to be directed to our room block. It is a fantastic hotel with many amenities such as a pool, workout room, and restaurant/bar. It sits right along the Columbia River and is less than a mile walk along the water-front path to the heart of the town. The welcome party will be hosted at this hotel Friday night. We will provide transportation to and from this hotel on Saturday for the wedding.

Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River

The Hampton Inn & Suites is in a prime central location in between the main downtown/waterfront area of Hood River and the Best Western Plus. No room block here, but it is another great option for our guests, especially those with Hilton points to use! Use the direct link below to book your stay. We will provide transportation to and from this hotel on Saturday for the wedding.

Hood River Hotel

This hotel is right in the heart of Hood River! Adorable rooms and walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops, and the waterfront area. This hotel releases their rooms for the summer starting at the end of February - therefore if you have your eyes set on this cute hotel call around then to book. No hotel block at this location, however, if you choose to stay here we will provide transportation to and from this hotel on Saturday for the wedding.

Travel Note

Airbnb or VRBO

There are options for Airbnb and VRBO in the area, but they book up quickly! If you know you are coming for a longer stay and prefer an Airbnb or VRBO, I would recommend booking as soon as possible. You will need to coordinate your own ride to and from The Orchard wedding venue on Saturday. If you book an Airbnb/VRBO that is super close to one of the hotels, please let us know in your RSVP which hotel pick-up spot you will be at for the shuttle.
