Question

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

There will be two transportation pick up locations; The Holiday Inn Charlottesville-Monticello and The Graduate. The buses will leave at 4:15pm - if you miss one of these options, please find alternative transportation to the venue, the buses will not have time to make a second trip before the ceremony. If you choose to drive to the venue, there is a parking lot available for guests with free parking. Ubers are available to the location if you prefer, but difficult to find leaving the venue. Transportation will be provided back to Charlottesville at 10pm and at the conclusion of the reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our evening. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

While we have included available hotel blocks on the travel & accommodations tab, there are many other wonderful locations in Charlottesville. Due to a home UVA football game and October winery season, we highly recommend booking your stay as soon as possible!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, their name or ‘and guest’ will be on your envelope.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, due to space constraints we are only able to include those who are in the wedding. Please reach out to Allison if you need sitter recommendations.
