Wisconsin Union Hotel
The second student union at the University of Wisconsin, Union South, has a dedicated hotel space. We have arranged a block here as it is only a 3/4 mile walk to Memorial Union where the ceremony and reception will be held. Rooms will be available for special booking rate from 3pm on July 10 until 12pm on July 12 2026. The nightly rate for a king or queen suite with kitchenette is $230. NOTE: you must book before June 14th, 2026 to be a part of the block.

The Fluno Center is a conference center affiliated with the University and is located 1/2 mile away from the Memorial Union. To reserve, please call 1-608-441-7117 or toll free at 1-877-773-5866 or email concierge@wisc.fluno.com and mention “Billy and Allison’s Wedding”. The block is available from 3pm on July 10, 2026 to 12pm July 12, 2026. Nightly rates are $170 for a single room, $190 for a double room. We kindly ask that you consider saving these rooms for those who are older/less mobile.

You can either order a cab online (via their mobile app) or call 608-242-2000. Cabs drivers have all completed background checks and training to assist those with reduced mobility.

Madison Metro Buses
Looking for a bargain? If you’d like to time it out, route 80 on the Madison Metro Bus system is a free bus that loops around the UW campus. You could get the bus from outside of Union South and ride it until you reach Memorial Union.

MSN
MSN is Dane County’s principal domestic airport. It is a 12 minute drive from downtown Madison making it a convenient option. The airport does offer car rentals.

The closest large, international airport to Madison is Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The drive time from ORD to downtown Madison is 2hrs. ORD offers many car rentals and also has the Van Galder bus system that takes passengers up to Madison.
